Merry Christmas Hi Ronan, Thanks for sharing your Chinese Christmas with us. It is all the same depending on what is in your heart no matter where you are. It sounds like you made the most of the day. Bryan Gumport came by last night. He is home visiting from Taiwan where he is teaching for another 2-3 months. I told him that you were on the same plan so maybe you will find a way to connect.
Lots of love and wishes for continued great adventures and a Happy New Year, Mary

Way to go, Ronan Hey Ronan - Just wanted you to know that the Billock-Steffensen clan is reading and watching as you make this incredible journey! I especially like your new girlfriend - will you be bringing her back to RSF for Thanksgiving? No, but seriously - I am enjoying keeping up with your travels and wanted to send you the very best wishes from all of us! Lars, Geoff, Ted and I are so proud of you! Love, Elizabeth

Ronan so enjoying your travel blog and photos. love hearing about the cultural things like the long haired women and your reaction to the amazing scenery. you are doing China in a more off beat and random way than if you just took a 2 wk trip to the main cities seeing all the highllights from a tour bus window. We are all good here in Belfast heading into the long cold winter. Mind yourself. there are a lot of weirdos out there. Lots of Love Auntie Claire xx
Vacation blog Ronan, You are having the best possible time and doing just what is right to see the country. And you thought playing basketball was hard work, how about that walk! I bet those children are awed by their tall teacher. I'm so happy that you are having this exciting experience. Love, Mary
Too much fun Hi Ronan, How fun it is to read your comments! Somehow I knew that you would maximize the opportunity to make new friends and share good will. You are a man of three continents now. Good luck with the basketball games. i bet those children love their tall American teacher. love, Mary
To be honest, I didn’t want to grow up and get a real job just yet so I decided to travel half way around the world with five buddies to teach English in China and travel throughout Asia. This will blog will be about my observations and adventures while in China and also be a way to keep all the homies back home up to date on my where abouts!
