I'm officially in Rome! Our flight over was uneventful. Everything went smoothly, and we got to our buses without any problems. Our "housing agent," John, showed us to our apartment. We had to climb a hill up to the door to our building. Our apartment in on the 2nd floor, even though in Italy it's the 1st. The elevator was broken, so we had to carry all our bags up a very narrow flight of stairs. Thank goodness we only have to do that once! Our apartment is fairly decent - however not in the best shape (read on...) Three bedrooms, living room, ridiculously tiny kitchen, and a decent bathroom, oh and a 2nd bathroom, that basically is a shower.
