Whaouw ! It looks very impressive !
You are going to come back very "blase" about things(imagine the Rivington Pike compared to mount Cook !).The Sheep in the Peak District are ok but when you've seen seals and pinguins...
Anyway it's good to see the pictures and to read your comments from my university desk with a pile of 80 copies waiting to be corrected...
For us the news are more traditionnal : Graham's company Xmas party next Friday with the theme "the Orient". Apart from a sumotori impression I'm not really sure I can look like anything oriental at the moment !
A bientot !
Nathalie.
Catch up Finally caught up with the blogs and have read the whole lot tonight. Was determined to read them before you get back!! Sounds like a fab trip and am now waiting with bated breath for the next instalment. All the best...
Brunswick St Isn't Jamie Olivers new restaurant in St Kilda? Brunswick St is in Fitzroy. Just a little correction...I'm so glad you liked Melbourne, also north coast NSW, which is where I am from...but living now in Melbourne.
Happy travelling!
grumpy old woman if you don't have anything nice to say don't say ot at all!-Do we detect a hint of homesickness!
next thing you'll be saying you want to go back to work!!!nah!
Budget RTW - Widnes Rocks! Just got back from Runcorn Bridge. Bit smelly but i could see a monstrosity (Chemical works) and since it cost me a fiver in petrol i reckon it's a bit cheaper than your trip to Sydney. Off down the park later with my take-away and a can of "Spesh" to complete the experience. Later dudes!
You had to go and ruin it didn't you! Doh! What are we going to do with 10 return tickets to NZ now?!
By the way "Kookaburra" sounds nothing like "a monkey". If it was called a Kachoonkey then you'd be right but it's not so stop drinking so much wine and do a crossword or something to get your brains working again!
Blog-tastic! Another good couple of Blogs Rachy-Roo. Maybe a future career as a travel writer? Seeing as you like wine here's a gag: What's a bogan's (chav's) favourite wine?..........."Wayne! Can we go to the pub now?!"
Wa, wa, wa, waaaa! Wine/Whine? Do you get it? Good eh? No? I'll get my coat.
Hat Hi Peeps looks like trip going well. The rodster is improving in the photo retouching department I see. the real Rod is wearing a hat in gimpy pose and then later in the macho beach surfer type pose he has put his head on one of the locals bodies. Seamless. Shameless. Almost back in blighty, later dudes.
Actually somewhere I've been! Finally somewhere you've been that I can comment on. I spent my best week in Oz in Noosa and I absolutely loved it. However, I can do one better than Rod's shark/dolphin sighting, I saw Merv Hughes in the sea (believe me, with that moustache it was nearly as scary). I've also been to "best of all" lookout in Springbrook. Soooo jealous, was ace xxx
Whaouw ! Here the days are starting to shorten...Enjoy the sea and the beach !
I am getting really envious now !
No travelling for us at the moment as I am experimenting "life as a hippo"...(not easy to lace shoes or just to get up out of the sofa). I understand why hippos have no shoes.
I am 6.5 months pregnant now. Everything's alright.
Take care and keep having fun ! You really look great, like on pictures for some travel agencies magazines...
Have you seen any weird insects or lizards ? Or giant toads ?
A bientot,
Nathalie
Vic and Bob - tastic! Oovavu indeed Rach and Rod! Did you see the dove from above on your travels? As ever, a good Blog. You always were good at talking a load of BoLOG's Rach.
