Home for the summer Glad that you made it to Republic, and now when you have the time you can send your progress pictures and that will be fun to watch.
Don is doing really good we got back to the surgeon on Wed. to see now how long the brace has to be on and when he can take a shower, we have done that but have to put plastic all over so it doesn't get wet.
thank You so much for your up dates all the time. He still has pain but with the pain meds he is doing fine.
bites What a time with all your bites.
Brought Don home yesterday so now he just has to do what the Dr. tells him to.
Glad that it's all over so now he just has to heal. We go back to the surgeon next Weds. don't know how long he has to have his brace on so we will find more out on Weds.
Darlene
As usual, your blogs are great Hi, guys...I don't read them all...but I enjoy the ones I do read so much. You are much more active than we ever were in our travels...but maybe we had as much fun as you do. You are near the Thousand Trails Campground...on the road from Camp Verde to Cottonwood...where we stayed lots of times. Loved it all. Sedona and surrounding territory is awesome, huh? When will you return to the NW?
Love, Joanne and Dick
Hey! Ally looks like Baxter about now! :-) Naaa, he's actually cleaner than that at the moment! But this winter they've both had their moments. Baxter is a little smarter than Landis, he stays in the shed more with the goats!
I gotta admit, this is pretty cool to see what you are up to, and how you both are getting in such good shape as well. keep it up. Also glad to hear the cat is in action too.
Jealous! OK, you are now officially in my very favorite places in the world. And the perfect time of year. Not too hot, not too cold. I want to throw my mountain bike on the car and go!
Pictures! More pictures!
Organ Stop Bob and Marti,
When we go to the ball games we make it a Sunday night trip every year to go there its a wonderful place one cannot describe it, can one? The pizza is great also.
Don is getting his mind ready for the surgery and Vickie and Allen will be here Saturday. We had a wonderful Easter here had 18 over for dinner and the little ones really enjoy the Easter Baskets.
We are so grateful for the Love of Jesus and what he did for our sins. A wonderful day to remember HE IS RISEN, YES IN DEED
Coati I used to volunteer at a wildlife sanctuary (Sarvey) when I was in high school and we had a coati there. They're SO sweet. Much nicer then a raccoon. Haha! The one we had was so used to being there that we could hold it and it would cuddle with you. We also had to little possums like that. They'd wrap their tails around your waste, clutch your shirt and snot you with their nose. Haha! That last part wasn't so awesome but talk about a great experience. I wouldn't dare approach one in the wild tho. You never know if its carrying babies and when they have babies they are mean!
Anyways, I really enjoy reading about your adventures and the pictures are beautiful! Thanks for sharing it with all of us!!!
What a beautiful trip you are doing thank you so much for the Travel Log keeps us up dated also on what you are doing
The pictures are pretty Marti and it does show good.
take care
Don and Darlene
Great Pictures Marti...have so enjoyed all the great pictures you've been including with your blog posts. Thanks for your very descriptive narratives, too! It sounds like you and Bob have had a wonderful few months getting used to being "footloose and fancy free."
Happy Easter!
Pam
You guy's look like your having so much fun and can only tell you this that don't case is under review so hopefully we should hear something soon.
Good picture of Bob by the way.
:-) I love the desert in a wet spring! You guys are so lucky. Gorgeous pics! Hugh missed getting a great one of Baxter on Sunday. My brother was over using my tractor backhoe to dig a trench to bring water up to the goat shed. Baxter was taking a big nap on the dirt piled up on the sides of the trench. Of course when Hugh got back with the camera, Bax was up looking for him!
Arizona! Next time you guys are down in the Tucson area, you should check out the Sonora Desert Museum. In the cooler parts of the year (now) they have a free flighted bird show that they do that is wonderful. It is just a gorgeous place!
Baxter is doing great! Got some more brushing on the boys today, but still have a long way to go! I got the last batch of pictures to your email rejected. Do you have a different email addy now? Let me know, and I'll send more!

Not boring! hi there, I am not bored at all. It is very interesting to see what you are experiencing. I love the pictures of the birds and the sunset. It sounds like you are meeting a lot of new people and making new friends. It is truly a blessing that God has given you both to be able to do this together. May you continue to have great times and experiences. Keep the pictures and info coming. I love it! Love Leslie Koehn from Bible Study
HI Marty & Bob Glad to hear that you both are having a good time enjoying your new lifestyle. Sounds like you are having mostly positive new experiences.
Boy, you guy's are really having a adventure and we are so happy about that. We did hear this week that USC has submitted for the approval and Don had to do so many test before they would do the surgery so now hopefully we should hear this week. I will facebook you Marti when we hear. Thank you so much for your prayers and Don and I can not tell you enough how disappointed we were to not come this year. What spot do you have at Destiny it was suppose to be 276. have fun at the games!!!
Love You Guy's
Darlene
Parker Your kitty looks a lot like my Russian Blue, Oat. And Allie looks like a MUCH cleaner version of Bax! That boy could use a spa day for sure! We were making progress on brushing those two out, then the rain returned. Bah!
Dana
This is our second year of living in our fifth wheel. We have really enjoyed all of our adventures so far and hope that you have enjoyed them too! We are back in Arizona and are making our way back to WA slowly. We are hoping to get some more hiking and exploring in before we get back. We'll be putting up a shop this year to get everything out of storage. That should be an adventure in itself! Thanks for being a part of our lives!... full info
