Wow, the orchids are amazing. I just love them! It sure sounds like you are having a blast. Too bad Rich is not getting to see some of it....but someone has to work to pay for the breakfasts!! Can you believe it is so expensive?
Singapore Sling Okay, that should be your signature drink we you return. Only, you want get $22 from me for one. Good grief. Maybe its because the value of the dollar is so low.
Hang in there....it's going to get better when you reach Sydney! I don't think it will be as humid and the people are wonderful. But it does looks beautiful and I know it is an adventure that you will always remember.
Andrea, I'll be interested to see how you feel about the people when it is time for you to leave. When my friend was over there actually she was in Bejing for 3 months. Anyway by the time she left she was not a peace loving person, she had just about had it with the waiting in lines and by the end of the trip she was in confrontations with the natives.
Sounds like your having a great time!!!!
Slinging in Singapore That's it - I'm contacting our new building managers now to have laundry poles installed! What a feature! Of course, we wouldn't be able to hang much laundry out these days - the rain has returned.
WHAT?!?!?! Did you say CHOCOLATE BAR!!!?!?! Definitely describe EVERY detail!! You need to stop window shopping and weigh down your arms!! Sounds like you are having a great time!
Hello We have been following your trip, sounds like you are having a good time!
Mitch added you to his Skype so you can visit with him if you want! He just got Skpe
with his new school laptop! Bet no one else is skyping family Singapore!
Stay safe!
Andrea,
As always I enjoy reading your adventure of the day and look forward to the next one. I'm not really sure I could enjoy fish for breakfast, I think I would stick with the heavy stuff.
It looks like your having a really great time and learning alot about Singapore. It all sounds like so much fun! Can't wait to hear about the Chocolate Bar! Take care
What a great blog! I feel like we are there sharing your adventure. So happy you both have this time together and we look forward to more updates!
By the way, just got off the phone with Talia. She had a great first day. I am excited for her. Love ya!
Enjoy! Wow - sounds awesome so far! Glad you finally figured out how to get some sleep, Andrea - all you have to do is travel for days at a time or move to Singapore! Missed you two at the pool yesterday - enjoy and keep us posted!
amazing It sounds like you are having an amazing trip so far. You have done quite a bit in a short period of time. How do you like their food or are you trying to eat more places that have western food. It's so fun to read your adventures. My friend and cousin were both there at different times for 3 months. They also blogged their trip. Have a great time!!
Oh my goodness, Andrea and Rich, it sounds amazing!! I know you must be having the time of your lives. I am so excited that you are doing the blog. We feel like we are living it with you. Have fun and be safe. Love, Tom and Jackie
Trip This blog is a great idea! Have a wonderful time in Singapore, sounds like you've got some fun things to do while you are there. Say "Hi" to Heidi for me and Zack!
Sounds like your off to a good start after a couple of glitches....can't wait to hear more...hope you have some pictures to go with all the information...my friends and my cousin did this while they were over there and they had some great stories....
Your Trip Wow - what fun. My mother was Australian - so we still have many relatives there. My Auntie Bette and her daughter, Cheri, live in Sydney. Cheri works part-time at the Fortune of Wars Bar -- next to the Russel Hotel in downtown Sydney. If you walk by -- stop in and see if she's there!
