Hello, OMG I'm so crap. Only just read this message! You cheeky bugger, I like my Ricd Ard t-shirt, helps when ever I gt lost in the snow! Beaver creek hey. So how did it go. Are you there, is it sorted? Man we love it. Homesick at the mo but still loving the life. We got jobs in Japan but finances were not existent so said no :( and stayed in NZ. But next year man. Jap Jap pow pow!

Farewell Blighty, Hello Beaver Creek
Hi guys, great blog, glad to see that Rich and Ard's Big Adventure is continuing as planned, and may it bring you serious adrenalin! Partly inspired by your get-up-and-go approach, I have applied for a job in the US of A and yesterday received an email with a job offer. I will have the prestigious title of 'Chairlift Operator' in Beaver Creek (of all the names), Colorado. As long as my visa application is successful, I'm there, then I'm going to have a T-shirt with 'HERMES CARLYON' written on the front. Hope you guys are still in full health, and I look forward to hearing all about the usual tomfoolery in your next blog. Don't go melting that snow, love Herm

Man, it is all unreal. We still have to pinch ourselves to believe it is true. Thank you so much for spending some time with us when we were back. That's the one and only downside to travelling, you miss people terribly. It's wonderful meeting new people of course but special friends can not be replaced. You have been an amazing friend to me and I have missed you loads. But don't worry, when you and Maya go off galavanting I'll be a poor old woman and you can tease me with your tales!

Living the dream
Well aren't you two living the dream!!!! it looks amazing I am so jealous. Just wondering what's happening to Rich though he looks like he's been on the streets for a few months get a razor you slob!!!!!!!!!!!. Just shown Maya the blog and she was bowled over she had no idea that snow could be like that she wants to come and ski with you both. Well enjoy don't crash and burn........ take care xxx

Ard How spooky is that, I was only thinking about you yesterday and wondering how you were getting on, and the answer is you have never looked better or happier. You truely look like you are in your eliment. The scenery looks amazing and it sounds like you are getting everything out of the experience that you wanted. Life here the same, how borring is that, ha, ha, what did you really expect! Will send a private email later in the weeek, just wanted to say a quick hello. Im loving the blog guys, keep them coming! Its great to hear what ur up to and that ur having a fab time, so wish I was there with u even though I think me and skiing = a recipe for disaster! Road trip sounds a bit hairy!! Love the car Rich....a step up from what ur used to driving I see (ah dont u miss ur sis and her teasing!) Anyway looking forward to the next installment, miss u loads! Thanks Sal, I'm guessing the housework doesn't quite match a run off the Elk chair. But it was -33C in town yesterday. Yeah, I didn't go up! Oh and we had our first meal here last night, Beef Lasagne. Yum! First impressions are pretty good so it's is looking up. Phew, close call though, thought I was going to have to cook like every night :) xxx Give Merlot a hug for us!

SAND!!
We are loving it! It's unreal, so beautiful. We are definitley still coming to Oz, haven't booked tickets yet so as soon as we do I'll let you know. I'm not sure about Uluru, money is a big restricter, but we would love to see you in Sydney. We are aiming for begining of May to end of June to be in Oz. Will probably spend the first week with Mum for her birthday etc and then travel up to see Dad and then Grandma in Brisbane. Keep your photos coming, love seeing what you've been up to!

Wow, how jealous am I! Snow is so far away from my comprehension at the moment. but the desert is alright. And air-conditioning helps too. If you're still coming to Oz let me know when and where you'll be, maybe I can organise a week off to come to Sydney or something. Or I'm still looking for people to be a tourist at Uluru with. Hi Guys, Having jsut read your entire blog and looked at all your pics I have to say I'm so happy that you are both where you want to be.
