Smelly Beardy Man Looks like you are having one hell of a good time out there!!I must say that Smelly Beardy Texan Professor sounds mildy worrying. Especially as he has his trusted silent friend Monty to keep him company on his travels. I am suprised there was not an abundance of drinking establishments in Moscow... I imagined there to be loads of smoky dens, pouring never ending measures of vodka. Im glad you didnt get any problems from The Establishment. No interesting news from this neck of the woods. Keep sending the great emails. I look forward to them. Lots of love - Mum x
tallinn more... Great idea on the blog sir chris, enjoyed the photo's and your humourous summary of travel adventures so far.
Sounds like you boys are taking in a great deal of sight seeing, but im sure a great deal o drink is being concumed. Id hope so, after all it helps, as I think back on our time in madrid. - So go on martyn, let your hair down and paint the town wine red, lol.
Wishing you boys all the best and keep the blogs coming, Chris.
Much love from Morden
Sounds grim I bet youre glad youve left Tallinn. Sounded very grim to me. Bet the pancakes were nice, though. Where are you now? What is your train like - is the sleeping accommodation archaic? Not much happening from this end. Alex had a nice birthday, and proceeded to throw up an egg mayonnaise sarnie he bought from an all night Tesco's after he had been clubbing..... he said it seemed like a good idea at the time! Revolting, isnt it? Are you getting into the Russian vodka?
Travel Guru Thanks travel guru - your blog is not only a fascinating insight into your mind but the most comprehensive Dad guide to packing and preparation I have ever read! I feel like I am with you in your bakcpack! I am super jealous of your exploits and will be thinking of you while at my dreary desk! See you tonight for football and farewell drinks xxx
One more for the shopping list Oh the shame of it Chris. First your Mum posts a comment on your travel blog and now your Mum's mate that has known you since blah blah blah....
Anyway, I have heard from three separate sources in the past few days that the must have item is a washing line. Nomad does the travel version and it will surely be useful when rinsing those underpants that your Ma is obsessed with. Also for saving drowning Pekinese and solving any number of travel dilemmas...
Clean underwear What's this I read....!! Only a few pairs of underpants? God help Russia and all the other unfortunate nations you will pass through. Do you plan to have a shave, or are you going to be some gingery hairy being?
