I've completed a month on Jeju Island in South Korea and I'm taking away more than I brought. What have really Learned here? a few things. I've learned that I'm a good teacher, that watching a child understand something you've presented is a very rewarding thing. I've learned that Koreans are poud of everything. I made it into Jeju yesterday morning after a very easy experience in Seoul's domestic airport Gimpo. I was picked up by Max a Korean student working as the camp driver and morning work out guru. He's a tae kwon do major at school and apparently knows a couple things about kicking ass. When I was a kid I made an abstract painting using found paint and crayons, I mother still has it hanging in the garage. I entitled it 'Sell your Soul for bacon'. I had no reference for the the expression and to this day still don't know what I meant by it but I enjoyed the collection of words.
