Lovely You are bringing back so many great memories I have of Italy. It really is a special place and Florence was my favorite. I went for a bike ride through the vineyards one day ... best day of my trip!
Sending love and peace. Have some Gelato for me
So glad you two had a good time. I laughed out loud in my very quiet work environment when I read that you ate sushi....you can never get away from it lol!! We will have to try the salmon role when we have our own sushi night!! Can't wait to see you and hear all about it!!
time flys Looking forward to having you both home again. We have followed your adventures with a degree of envy...not only for the trip but for the energy that you have needed alaong the way. You will have memories forever and they will be further enjoyed each and every time you think back on your honeymoon...sore feet and all. Amy, I am so glad that you found the beaches and the water all that you had hoped for. Rudi, I am doing so much better at computer lingo...I think I figured out what WTF signifies. It's never to late to teach an old dog new tricks. Talk to you soon. Looking forward to show and tell.

THE LONELY PLANET The Lonely Planet, what a name!!!!! You probably feel like you have been on another planet. Good ol' home cooking--just imagine a cottage roll for dinner!!!!
Looking forward to pictures pictures and more pictures--and stories, stories and more stories!!! Quite foggy here right now, but no snow to welcome you back--you will have time to climatize before you put those feet into warm boots. Have the feet fully recovered???
Dinner last night at Brad's last night was very nice--he was surprised that his 4 pound sirloin roast wasn't cooked enough to eat after having been in the oven for 1-yes one-hour. Dinner was off schedule!!
Enjoy the count down!!

xxoxoxo I'm glad you guys are having an ADVENTURE. Good or Bad I know you are totally making it a memorable experience. Enjoy every minute of it and I can't wait to see the picture and hear the stories!!
The Gap's in GAP Hey Kelly! Thanks for writing to us! Ya, we have had some issues with GAP that we will need to tell them about. We are being picked up by them on Friday as well and we have NO idea when. How's that for organization!
We have taken so many pictures and the weather is perfect!! I look forward to our dinner so we can share our holiday with you ... jealous or not, lol.
TTYS,Amy
NOT JEALOUS! Hey,
I just wanted to say that I'm SO NOT jealous that you are bathing in the nice sand and water of Buzios.
I'm happy to hear that your second half of the honeymoon worked out, I was a little scared for you guys when I read Rudi's msg about not being able to contact GAP.
Anyways, can't wait to see pics!
talk soon,
Kelly Mac

Sounds like the best was saved for last!!!! I need an update on those feet!! They must be better--sulpha cream or not.
In some ways it seems like you have been gone a very lonnnnnnnng time--those daily phone calls just aren't coming--but then it seems to be only "three" days and you will be jetting home.
Today is Dad's birthday and we are travelling up to Brad's for the afternoon and dinner. A nice invitation extended.
I want to know if Rudi is still wearing black long pants and socks!!!!!! Please tell me he isn't.
Can't wait for the photo party.

i gave in and finally commented... So I feel like a bit of a creeper cuz I've been reading all of these updates very excitedly every time but I haven't made a single comment. Maybe because I'm afraid of what jealousy will make me say...lol. I cannot wait until you get home so we can get together and hear all of the untold tales I'm sure you've been saving up! I hope that you and Rudi think this Honeymoon is everything you you dreamed of! Love you both and can't wait to hear from you when you get back!

Sounds like Brazil I'm glad you guys are having a blast!! It sounds like you had an "Amazing Race" experience with the 5mins to go packing and crazy 200km car ride. That's the kind of stuff you only hear about in the movies - or in South America... My aunt lives in Sau Paulo and always talks about how she never drives because of the road ragers hehe. Anyways, can't wait to see you guys when you get back :)

Oh the joys of an adventure!! Well it sounds like it has been an "adventure" with a few gaps!!!! Enjoy the last 5 days relaxing in your quaint hotel. Lots of photos to remember the trip and lots of stories to tell. Do you keep a travel journal to help with the recall??
Our Canadian winter hasn't started yet--we will save that for your return.

LOTS OF STORIES!!!! I hope all is going well. Of course, my mother mind is working overtime trying to figure out why you didn't see all four planned touriest sites--hopefully you are safe and had no unpleasant experiences. I was even hoping before you left that you didn't wear that flashy jewellry. Keep the postings coming if you can. I hope you capture the memories with the camera--enjoy the sweating because after you return it will be shivering for the next few months!!!

The feet So you will have to fill me in on the "feet" story. I must have missed something other than Amy forgot socks and the feet got very wet from the rain?? Are they all swollen, bitten--I am thinking about those huge feet when you got off the bus trip back from Florida in high school??? Of course, Rudi is massaging those feet every opportunity--right?? LOL
Watching your weather and oh my goodness it is hot. We are enjoying a warm spell here. Hope all the photos capture everything you need to remember. Can you believe it has almost been a week??
Toodles.

Honeymooners Glad to hear that all is well and that are safe, sound and having a good time. Show and tell on your return for sure. Were you two responsible for turning all the lights off down there. I know Amy enjoys the ambience of candles...but really!!! Keep the mail coming when you can and continue to enjoy each moment. Love YOM and YOF
Bad weather in Brazil The weather doesn't sound like it was too great. What about the massive power outage in Brazil??? Looking forward to lots of photos when you return.
Stay safe.

Your trip Hello! I'm glad that you enjoyed your stay in Buenos Aires. I'm ashamed to admit that what you said about dogs and the lack of rules about pooping in the sidewalk is true!, however, the town has a lot of interesting places to know. I hope you have a fabulous stay at Iguazu falls which is a wonderful place. Regards. Walter
your trip I'm glad that you enjoyed being at our city. I'm ashamed to admit that what you said about dogs and the lack of rules about popping is true. But, the town has many interesting places and there is no words to describe the beauty of Iguazu Falls. I hope you have a fabulous stay there. Regards. Walter
WOW! Hey guys!
I was a little late in reading your entries, but I'm ALL caught up now! It sounds like you guys are having a blast! I'M SOOOO JEALOUS!!!!
Anyhoo, about your trip to S-21. I read about all that when I was doing some research and I was shocked just reading it...I can't imagine seeing the site.
Great pics by the way!
talk to you guys soon!
Phnom Penh Glad to hear you are enjoying your educational experience and hope you just lay in the sun on your two day rest!!!
Dad is out snowblowing--we got about 15-20 cm through the night and more coming on Friday. He is the neighbourhood blow guy. You know Dad and his inability to retain names of people--well he called out to "Brian" next door to not worry about his driveway Dad would be over with the blower to do it--Brian's name is "Brad" one I thought he would have no trouble remembering--but------Brian appreciated the help!!!!!!!
No school today for Chase so the award ceremony has been postponed. My froggy throat is not getting any better and I have a bit of a dull headache today--sure hope I snap back into the healthy world soon. How about the "tennis ball" bug bite--no critters living in the mound????
Off to work on the schedule for a bit. Enjoy your tuk tuk ride!!
Toodles.

hey 7 hours eh? That's a whole lot of traveling. I think it's both adorable and a telling sign that you both are choosing to spend your travel time cozying up with scrabble. You're both nerds, but I love you guys anywhoo. :)
Hope you're having a blast!
