So glad you two had a good time. I laughed out loud in my very quiet work environment when I read that you ate sushi....you can never get away from it lol!! We will have to try the salmon role when we have our own sushi night!! Can't wait to see you and hear all about it!!

Looking forward to having you both home again. We have followed your adventures with a degree of envy...not only for the trip but for the energy that you have needed alaong the way. You will have memories forever and they will be further enjoyed each and every time you think back on your honeymoon...sore feet and all. Amy, I am so glad that you found the beaches and the water all that you had hoped for. Rudi, I am doing so much better at computer lingo...I think I figured out what WTF signifies. THE LONELY PLANET
The Lonely Planet, what a name!!!!! You probably feel like you have been on another planet. Good ol' home cooking--just imagine a cottage roll for dinner!!!! Looking forward to pictures pictures and more pictures--and stories, stories and more stories!!! Quite foggy here right now, but no snow to welcome you back--you will have time to climatize before you put those feet into warm boots. Have the feet fully recovered??? Dinner last night at Brad's last night was very nice--he was surprised that his 4 pound sirloin roast wasn't cooked enough to eat after having been in the oven for 1-yes one-hour. Dinner was off schedule!! Enjoy the count down!! Luv Mother Plain.

The Gap's in GAP
Hey Kelly! Thanks for writing to us! Ya, we have had some issues with GAP that we will need to tell them about. We are being picked up by them on Friday as well and we have NO idea when. Sounds like the best was saved for last!!!! I need an update on those feet!! They must be better--sulpha cream or not. In some ways it seems like you have been gone a very lonnnnnnnng time--those daily phone calls just aren't coming--but then it seems to be only "three" days and you will be jetting home. Today is Dad's birthday and we are travelling up to Brad's for the afternoon and dinner. A nice invitation extended. I want to know if Rudi is still wearing black long pants and socks!!!!!! Please tell me he isn't. Can't wait for the photo party. Luv Mother Plain.

I'm glad you guys are having a blast!! It sounds like you had an "Amazing Race" experience with the 5mins to go packing and crazy 200km car ride. That's the kind of stuff you only hear about in the movies - or in South America... My aunt lives in Sau Paulo and always talks about how she never drives because of the road ragers hehe. Anyways, can't wait to see you guys when you get back :) xo Suzie

I hope all is going well. Of course, my mother mind is working overtime trying to figure out why you didn't see all four planned touriest sites--hopefully you are safe and had no unpleasant experiences. I was even hoping before you left that you didn't wear that flashy jewellry. Keep the postings coming if you can. The feet
So you will have to fill me in on the "feet" story. I must have missed something other than Amy forgot socks and the feet got very wet from the rain?? Are they all swollen, bitten--I am thinking about those huge feet when you got off the bus trip back from Florida in high school??? Of course, Rudi is massaging those feet every opportunity--right?? LOL Watching your weather and oh my goodness it is hot. We are enjoying a warm spell here. Hope all the photos capture everything you need to remember. Can you believe it has almost been a week?? I'm ashamed to admit that what you said about dogs and the lack of rules about pooping in the sidewalk is true!, however, the town has a lot of interesting places to know. Glad to hear you are enjoying your educational experience and hope you just lay in the sun on your two day rest!!! Dad is out snowblowing--we got about 15-20 cm through the night and more coming on Friday. He is the neighbourhood blow guy. You know Dad and his inability to retain names of people--well he called out to "Brian" next door to not worry about his driveway Dad would be over with the blower to do it--Brian's name is "Brad" one I thought he would have no trouble remembering--but------Brian appreciated the help!!!!!!! No school today for Chase so the award ceremony has been postponed. My froggy throat is not getting any better and I have a bit of a dull headache today--sure hope I snap back into the healthy world soon. How about the "tennis ball" bug bite--no critters living in the mound???? Off to work on the schedule for a bit. Enjoy your tuk tuk ride!! Toodles. Luv Mom.
