Ladies & Gents Let me tell you about San Fran fukin cisco! Home of Alcatraz, Golden Gate Bridge, crackheads and some of the craziest hills i have ever had the misfortune of having to walk up!! We arrived having flown in from Boston on Sunday the 22nd at around midday, got a taxi to our Hostel on Taylor street and whilst being driven up Taylor st were greeted my crackheads and alot of homeless people, apparently they all come over to the westcoast cos its warmer!! either way i was praying that our Hostel wasnt anywhere close as thats not my idea of a friendly neighbour hood! luckily it wasnt and we where dropped off at the Amsterdam Hostel and thats were the fun began! Well here it is, my first blog entry for this epic journey of mine, apologies for my tardiness but its hard work sightseeing and getting on it!! Day 1 was hardcore to say the least, we landed at around 1ish last wednesday and managed to get checked into our hotel and down to an irish pub before the footie started. We had planned to just go down there for a couple whilst the football was on but the gents behind the bar were very persuasive and 8pints and 6hrs later we stumbled back to the hotel for the night!! Met some sound new yorkers who gave us some good tips of places 2go drinking whilst we were there which of course we took!!
