Queen of All Souls

Just for today, I will live only these precious 24 hours;
Just for today, I will regard the wonder of today with the same joy I behold a newborn!

Just for today, I will be happy, and have chosen to be so;
Just for today, I will be responsible for my own emotional status - if I am not happy, I change!

Just for today, I will "let it go and let God" - whatever bad happening, "what does God want me to learn?"
Just for today, I will gently accept myself - knowing that I am becoming the person I was meant to be!

Just for today, I will stretch my mind by pursuing ONE brand-new idea, each day;
Just for today, I will stop saying, "Someday I will... " and dare to make my dreams/fantasies come true!

Just for today, I will exercise my soul, to grow emotionally and spirtually;
Just for today, I will live the Truth of "It is more blessed to give than to receive", by helping another person without expecting thanks, by becoming more flexible, more spontaneous, by saying "Why not?" to people's suggestions/ideas...

Just for today, I will be organized, setting goals and make a plan for myself;
Just for today, I will be satisfied with what I have accomplished, by the end of the day!

Just for today, I will be fearless, remembering what Madam Curie said, "Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood";
Just for today, I will feel abundant about opportunities to grow and excel - in time of such challenges/opportunities, I will ALWAYS be prepared!!

Just for today, I will enjoy a period of solitude, to replenish my sould and insure serenity as a 24-hour state of mind;
Just for today, I will NOT rush from activity to activity; I will allow experience and enjoyment (of each moment) to soak in......
During busy times, I will remember to breathe DEEPLY, knowing that I'm inhaling the energy of the universe and I am refreshed!

It was my n-th time visiting Taiwan (Taipei), yet probably only the 2nd time having the opportunity to relax and rewind - the other times were all purely for work! Thanks god, for this trip: despite working till 12am on the second day, I was able to treat myself to some personal time, some strolling along streets and "doing nothing"... which was great fun, for a change! And I also took the opportunity to meet up with my friend Shane - Shane was there on a special mission, an inter-goverment exchange program. Good luck, Shane, with the rest of your Taipei stay! And thanks for taking those photos!! :-)... read more

“Good Frog, Bad Frog” - one never knew the catch is actually the “okay” part. This cuts the deepest in my memory of my “Leadership” experience! There are other lessons, of coz… (visit here and get inspired: url=http://groups.yah... read more

* Took an early-morning boat (0600) for a 9-hour ride to Bagan. Located on the east bank of Ayeyarwaddy River , Bagon (Pagan) is one of the main tourist attractions in Myanmar, one of the richest archaeological sits in Asia, with 2000 well-preserved pagodas and templates. * Arrived in Bagan at around 1530. Picked up by another taxi-driver tourguide, I got put up at the cozy Innwa Hotel. * For sunset views, I scaled the Shwe-san-dow Pagoda, only to be carried away by the feeling of peacefulness around; to finish up, visited another pagoda, Bu-paya at the riverside. ... read more
