Good to hear from you! We have not been able to read your blogs because we have been out of town. It great to hear that you are doing well and not ill anymore. Sounds like Vienna was a neat experience. We are leaving for Nebraska for my 50th class reunion tomorrow. We will go to the Muny with your folks and Kelly and Doug in the evening and then head out in the morning. We will be looking forward to your Blog when we return to Cape on Monday. Lots of love, Grandma and Grandpa R.
name?? Is it Katie that means peasant farmer, or Sedlacek? The first time I read it I thought it said peanut farmer. Somehow, I think that might be more approiate for you.
Vienna Kate, I really enjoyed all your pictures from Prague and Vienna. Keep it up. On your update of things you miss I noticed that good pasta is no longer there. I guess that means the Italian restauranet you ate at in Vienna was pretty good...or maybe it was the red wine. Anyway, keep having fun. Thanks for e-mailing your schedule for the next two weeks. Mom and I appreciate it. We'll try to be home from work by about 4:30 our time tonight (Monday) so hopefully we can talk. Love you! ----- Dad
Glad you're up & Running Again! Sounds like your day was busy. I'm so glad you enjoyed the opera! What a neat experience!! Have a great time in Vienna!
P.S. Operation Rescue Grandma is underway. They've made it to the 16th Floor, now all they have to do is bring her down!! More info to come....
Glad you're feeling better Sorry you missed the day, but glad you're feeling better. Don't want to miss Vienna!! Hopefully we can Skype this evening.-Mom
lesson learned I guess the best lesson is that Daquiris are evil! A nice glass of water or soda should be your first choice! Glad the presentation is over for you.... enjoy Vienna! it is beautiful..... get down by the Danube River if you can. There are some neat walking areas there and a tall tower you can go up in and have lunch and see a great view!
Doug
Not Feeling Well? Sorry to hear that you're not feeling well. It was probably the strawberry daquari. You didn't really say how your presentation went. Were you celebrating because it turned out great or were you just celebrating the fact that it was over? You can fill us in next time we talk. Mom and I are going to the Cardinal game tonight, but we'll be home from at least midnight to 1:00 AM your time. If we don't hear from you tonight, I hope you're feeling better tomorrow.
Monday Hi Kate! I hope everything went ok today with putting the finishing touches on your presentation. Sounds like you all had a great day on Sunday. Hey, do you think wearing some warm clothes in the shower would help? (I guess not.) Have a great day and Mom and I hope to talk to you again soon. Love you!
Time off!! I'm proud of you for holding your own on the project. It is Sunday here and it is very, very hot! The Cardinals just won 11- 3. That is 7 in a row!! Grandpa and I are going to your house tomorrow night for lodging and transportation to the airport on Tuesday. We are going with 3 other couples to the Napa Valley in California. We will be testing good wine! We'll be back Saturday and spend the night at your house. On Sunday we have a picnic planned at Doug's for my brother Dick and his family. Heather, Heidi and Jon will be there with them. We haven't seen them for a long time. Amber went to church camp today. She will be a counselor for junior and senior high girls. (She is going to have a hot time because the temperature is going to be around 95 all week. Lots of love, Grandma R.
Fried cheese sounds interesting! Sorry to hear that you didn't get into a good group. That happens sometimes and I am sure you can hold your own. Your shopping sounds like fun and you are so SMART to look and then buy later after you have done you scouting. It is really hot (96 degrees) today and your grandfather is out hitting the little white ball around the golf course! I know he will be tired when he gets home. At least we have air conditioning. All the pictures have been beautiful!! You will have so much to tell us when you return home. Lots of love, Grandma R
Weekend Sorry your morning went so bad, glad the afternoon was better. Good luck on you project Saturday and enjoy your Sunday off. I am enjoying your updates.
french Katie,, always remember, pretentious and French is redundent. Anyhow, have fun in Vienna. I was there several years ago... very fun to walk the very narrow streets and the big cathedral in the main square is very interesting..... eat some schnitzle and the great ice cream!! Theres a cool catacombs from the royal family that is neat to visit too.... sounds like you are having fun!
real life lessons! Katie, Sounds like you are experiencing real life corporate situations...being on teams with people that do none of the work yet still get credit for it! You are doing EXACTLY what I would do........ venting to a friend and drinking lots of "pivo"! You are ready for the real world! Glad you are having a good time...keep the updates coming!
Bad morning? Sorry to hear that your morning didn't go so well but it was good to hear that the afternoon was better and that you had a good evening. Hope to hear from you on Skype again soon. Love you!
Vienna It is great that you are able to do some traveling. Your great grandmother Franzl Manger (Dorothy Rediger's mother) came from Vienna. We love reading your Blogs. Yesterday we about washed away. We got 3 inches of rain in a very short period of time. Lots of love, Grandma R.
Hi It's been nice reading your blogs. Just sitting here watching the Cards game and Edmonds just hit a homerun to tie the game 2-2 at the bottom of the 7th. Let's just hope they win. Sounds like you are having a great time. It's a great experience so keep up the good work.
How's the weather? It's definitely hot and humid here. In the 90's the rest of the weekend and into next week. Well, have fun and don't drink too much beer. Didn't think you liked beer? Be safe.
I'm leaving you a message! Belgium... how cool. Good luck figuring out the traveling. Today my mom bought coasters for me because she thought I'd need some. And I already have a few coasters... so we'll be all set to keep our tables ring free!

Brand Czech You might suggest a big bright yellow check mark for their brand logo... a great idea like this might get you extra points on your class grade.
