Welcome home I sat and read your blog from the beginning tonight. It really sounds like you had a wonderful and memorable trip. I hope to see pictures when you get home-I didn't try to go to all the sites to check pictures, I'm lucky I didn't get knocked off line while I was reading. Can't wait to see you, Love, MF.
welcome back... in a bit! Katie- Welcome back to the states, well, almost! And have a fantastic time moving in to the apartment! Can't wait to see you. I've enjoyed reading your blog for the past 29 days!
Last Day! Hope you bring some of that rain home to Missouri. We are really needing rain. Looks like you girls had a good time in Germany. Too bad that Maxine had a problem with her luggage. Have a safe trip home and call us when you are back in St. Louis. We loved reading all your Blogs!! Lots of love, Grandma R.
Too Bad It was too bad about the weather in Dresden. It sounds like you girls had some fun though. Thank goodness you found out about the train in plenty of time to get to the other station. Oh, just so you know, Maxine made it to St. Louis but her sutcase didn't. Hopefully it will be waiting for her at the airport before she boards MoEx in the morning.
Love you! -----Dad
Oops! It is Saturday morning here and I read your #27 before I read #26. Grandmas tend to do things backwards! So I now know why Maxine is leaving early. Have a save trip. Lots of love, Grandma R.
Time to pack! I'm glad you are packing to come home! I know you have had a great time and getting A's makes it even better. Why is Maxine leaving before you? I thought you were partners on the plane. Enjoy these last days and we will look forward to seeing you in St. Louis. The Cardinals really need your help!!! Lots of love, Grandma R.
Bones and hair!! The church sounds very unusual and interesting. I look forward to seeing your pictures. The arm hair sound terrible and the smell worse!Would you check on temperatures in Prague for May and June? We hope to take a river cruise with some friends and Prague will be one of the stops. There are cruises in May and June and we want to chose the right time. Lots of love, Grandma R.
Time is getting short! It will soon be time to pack and head back to St. Louis. I know your time has gone quickly and you have had a great experience and met many new friends. I am so glad you have had this opportunity, but I will be happy to have you back in Missouri. We had mexican food last Wednesday before we went to the Muny to see "White Christmas". We enjoyed both. It is now in the hundreds in Cape and it is hard to be outside. Enjoy you remaining time in Prague. Lots of love, Grandma R.
sorry to confuse you Katie,, the shout out was to Neddy-- hes at camp and the turtle commment was an inside joke that those of us you left behind had concerning letters to Neddys camp-- you had to be there ,, and weren't :P
Hi There!!!! We are home from grandma's reunion in Nebraska. We enjoyed our trip. Really enjoyed White Christmas at the Muny. (Kelly was not impressed) It is really hot here---around 100 every day.
You need to get home to take care of your no hit, no pitch, fumbling Cardinals. They need lots of help!!!! (5 game losing streak)
Have a great last week in Prague!!!!!!!!!
still gone? Glad you are getting so much squeezed in on your excursions. You should invite the purple nametag people to Tex-Mex with you next time.
Oh,, and Ned told me to tell you that your pet turtle died. (TA shout out to Ned for giving me more material!!!)
Purple name tags oh my- I also found the purple name tag people annoying. URGH! the spoiled my first trip to Prague....and I used to like purple-sigh...
argh!tex-mex in prague! that's worse than in mizzou! i love reading your blog after maxine's- it's fun to get 2 points of view- i know you've had a great time- i'm so glad you guys were able to go together- save a night for us when we come to visit maxine in september! have a great time the rest of the week!
Adventures Sounds like some adventures. It's been almost two weeks since we've made direct contact. It seems like you've had all sorts of crazy adventures. We'll have to swap stories when we both get back into Mizzou. The best story from the states, of course, is our Cubs' four game sweep of you Cardinals. Enjoy your last few days abroad, and drink a beer in my honor. Hope to talk to you soon!
Congrats! Katie - Congrats - you recovered from the wine party enough to blog about your day. Glad you had a good time. Hope you find Terezin interesting. Thanks for the email last night. Glad your souvenir finds are going well. We'll keep in touch this weekend.
Go Cardinals! I can't believe the Cardianl people didn't respond to you. As of this afternoon, the Cardinals are 58-42 and 5.5 games ahead of the Reds. Go Cardinals!
I looked at all the new pictures you posted and they look great. The view from the top of the tower must have been fantastic!
Hope to talk to you later tonight. -----Dad
Six Months??? I just can't believe that our little girl will be 21 in only 6 months. You're really making me feel old. At least i don't have any gray hair yet!?!?
I looked for your Olomouc pictures but i guess you haven't had a chance to post yet. I'll look again tonight. Mom and I won't be home until closer to 5:00 our time tonight so if you're still up at midnight you can look for us then.
Love you! -----Dad
Drinking? Getting used to the legal drinking? I guess that makes you long for your birthday. Glad you like your teachers so much. It will make your experiences even better!! Enjoy the castle tomorrow! Love you much!!
Forgot something I forgot to tell you - I have your "Corn On A Stick" picture at my desk now. It takes very little to make you excited sometimes, doesn't it?-Mom
