Between grey skies, rain, and slivers of sun, Phoenix, Susie, and I trekked from the 5th mme down to Denfert-Rochereau to catch the number 4 train to the 7th mme and see the Tour Eiffel. Once we made our way to Denfert-Rochereau, we stopped at cafe for a petit dejeuner francaise. DELICIOUS cafe au lait, jud d'orange, croissant, et pain avec confiture. Coffee with milk, orange juice, croissant, bread and jam. After our breakfast we hopped on to our train and zipped 9 stops over to the edge of the Seine and headed toward the Eiffel Tower. The Eiffel Tower is pretty amazing, but the amazement wears off quickly for a two year old who found the Osage orange tree and its fruits way more interesting--the fruits look like neon green tennis balls with a brainy
