Movies and things Hey Peter. I think movies play a big role in choosing travel destinations....and not always consciously...sometimes subconsciously, you know when you go away and have that "I feel like I've been here before" feeling. Most of the time if you think back, its usually from a movie you've seen in the past.
Movies Hi Peter,

> Great topic, Ill let you know if i think of more!!
The Blue Lagoon & The Beach Great examples! Fiji is meant to be beautiful and Thailand's scenery certainly looked amazing in The Beach. Living in New Zealand have you wanted to visit any of the Lord of the Rings locations ? or have any other films enticed you to visit anywhere in Europe ?
The Blue Lagoon I am heading to the Fiji Islands next year as it is close to New Zealand and have always wanted to go there after watching the Blue Lagoon movie. And The Beach has made me want to go to Ko Samui very badly too.
