Get ready for snow! - From: Touring Thailand
Hi Folks! Good to hear you'll be back soon...so we can finally take revenge for all the blog entries detailing how you were lounging in the sun while we were dripping with rain back home ;-) Snow has finally arrived in Sweden (I'm in Stockholm now), it looks fab! Looking forward to seeing you back in Ireland in February

Hi Guys. I get a definite impression from your Blog that you have really settled into this "seeing the World" routine. You make it all sound very simple and easy; take a ferry here, stop over there ...............I suppose that you can not buy experience! 2006 was a good year and 2007 seems to have real potiential .............happy New Year , we look forward to seeing you soon. Hopefully that arm will be better by then Paul..................it looks really nasty! Take care.

welcome to KL - From: Happy Christmas from Malaysia!
I just got back from 3 fantastic nites in Langkawi, island off Kedah. Good place to unwind, see, and do. Stayed at Mutiara Burau Bay - a very laid back setting. Go island hopping, walk up to the waterfalls, enjoy horse riding, swim in calm clear water sea and enjoy the shopping. Its a duty free island! Of course there is Penang (developed island), Pulau Redang(good for snorkeling), and many more islands plus the highlands. You may enjoy busier x'mas in Penang or KL ...or a quiet time at the other locations. Merry christmas

Christmas in singapore - From: Lazing in the pool all day
Its billed Christmas in the tropics and the whole city is heavily decorated for christmas! They even have a huge christmas nativity set lining their main shopping street. The shopping there is mad too...when we arrived last Saturday we went for a walk and the shops/restaurants etc we all full up until 11.30pm and the streets were packed with people. The restaurants are also catering for people who would like their turkey and ham for christmas. Unfortunately we are leaving singapore today, to head into malaysia, so we will have to see where we will end up for christmas!

Christmas is upon us - From: Lazing in the pool all day
Hi Paul and Ulrika, I can see that you are putting a good face on it by trying to show that you are enjoying yourselves whereas all the time you would really prefer to be here in the dark and the rain? Anyway, Christmas is upon us here in a big way, I heard on the radio, when driving into work today, that Irish people will spend twice the EU average per person on Christmas presents.................I would believe it, the shops are jammers and it will only get worse as the clock ticks down...............shopping is not for the faint hearted, the young or the frail! Any sign of a fat turkey or a bit of Limerick ham out your way?

NZ - From: Aotearoa
NZ sounds and looks great. Big country but not many people.............you never said if you met many sheep? As you travel around I would like to hear your opinion on how you would rate (out of 10) the places you have been; Must see Must do Food Drink Value for money People Places to avoid Might be a bit of work for you but I think a lot of people would be interested Have a great time in OZ!

26/10/2006 - From: NZ update
You really have entered into the spirit of things, but are there no "fun" things to do other than throwing yourself out of an areorplane at high altitude or trying to make pets out of animals that see you as tasty morsels? Things here are good. We are really looking foreward to our "sedate" few days away. Your blog looks really well now, by the time you guys get home it could be "award winning"!!! Take care of yourselves and I look forward to your next up date.

Good party - those Swedes know how to rock - From: The eve before the event!
Good to read that everything worked out. I had completely forgotten to build a soundtrack to Ulrika's video. Sorry. OTH, I'm not sure my music taste of the time was the same as Ulrika's dad. I was in the anti-Abba camp. Heja Sillstryparn a.k.a Garotta Di Ansjovy.
