Well our four days in Rome draws to a close. Our visit this morning to the Vatican was amazing! Unbelievably crowded, but to be expected at this time of the year. Over the past four days we have walked miles and miles and miles, climbed hundreds and hundreds of steps and visited ruins and many sacred places. Everything is truly mind-blowing from the Colosseum, St Peter's Basilica, the Vatican, Sistine Chapel, Vatican Museums, the Spanish Steps, to the Trevii Fountain, Tivoli Gardens, Pompeii, and all other fountains, Squares, Piazzas, and the list goes on. The local trains are a law unto themselves, leaving either earlier than scheduled or later, or even delayed by 55 minutes! Makes managing connections interesting!
