Have a great time Hi Both
Hope you have a great time.
Getting settled in the house but still a bit of unpacking to do.

Happy Christmas! Hi Mike and Lesley,
Good luck on your fabulous journeys. I'll be thinking of you and look forward to hearing of your adventures. Have a great Christmas, Hugs, Pam
Great choice! hiya both, Bath is my favourite place that I've been to in the UK....would love to have a pad in the royal crescent, and listen to classical music on the lawn in front.
We wer ther a couple of years ago, so the photos are a great reminder...loved every minute of it, such a compact place!
Chester is another fave, but Bath tops it for me....
Just stunning! Lesley,
Some absolutely stunning shots of Bath. Your photography just gets better! Ever thought of doing some work for the English Tourist Board?
Best wishes to you and Mike - and have a great Christmas and New Year.

Duchy Delights Welcome Home! Thanks for all your fascinating Blogs. We are down in Cornwall next week, so we will give you a phonecall and hope to see you (but please don't bring any of your alien friends!).
Cook's Choice What a lovely place you found! Let's hope it is never spoilt. Island's are still attracting you and one can see why. Last month we were in Shetland to launch the new book on Northmavine and found ourselves on the top of Ronas Hill in occasional mist and on Hermaness in heavy rain and fog - no similarity at all to Cook Island but the BBC Springwatch has been following the lives of otters (Terry Holmes evidently a great help) and despite the weather there has been an increase in tourist enquiries. We are just back from a week in Cornwall where the weather was, generally, very good, though the dog, Zennor, crawled under an overhanging rock to escape the sun on a walk between Lamorna and Mousehole. An evening perfprmance at the Minack Theatre was thoroughly enjoyable. At TG until mid September. It must all seem very far away. Val from WCCH sends her regards.
From one Cornwall to another... Fantastic that you have managed to finally meet Michael Treloar II. I can't believe that he was over here in Cornwall last year. It's a small world! Really looking forward to seeing all the photographs of the area. It's so interesting to see Little Cornwall - quite a bit different to ours. Oh I printed off the photo of Mike, on the previous blog, eating his pasty for Nanny - she really liked it!
Relatively Speaking Great news you managed to track the Down Under Treloars. Found anybody horribly rich yet? We much appreciated your card from Tasmania and interested that Richmond has Australia's oldest surviving stone bridge. There are two in our Richmond but the Mercury Bridge was almost lost when the town was hit by severe floods five years ago. Apart from day trips to walk in the Lakes we haven't gone far but go to Shetland in June and Penzance in July. When do you return? Will you return?
LUCKY SOD ITS STILL VERY COLD UP HERE I LES AND MIKE JUST GONE THROUGH THE LAST LOT OF TRAVEL JOURNALS AND ARE VERY ENVIOUS, WE`VE HAD A REALLY COLD AND WET WINTER AND AN EVEN COLDER AND SNOWIER SPRING REMINISCENT TO 1979 IF YOU CAN REMEMBER THAT FAR BACK, AM GOING TO EMAIL YOU TO YOUR OWN ADDRESS LES AS HAVE SOME NEWS FOR YOU EV
Ossie Pasties Thanks for the blogs which came like London buses! All sounds very exciting and the photographs are superb. We had an enjoyable week in Cornwall last month. Zennor loved Gwithian Sands and we also enjoyed the coffee/bookshop in St Just, chatted to an ex Geevor miner. Our pasties now come from Mc Faddyans in the middle of St Just. Got back to Yorkshire and had to dig our way through the snow in a blizzard from the village to TG. Stay down under!
I'm back from the Artic! Hi to you both, got back from the Artic on Monday. It was extremely cold -15 degrees somedays. I'm well, its nice to see all your lovely photo's. Enjoy and see you soon.
Lou xx
Warmth Hi folks
Wish we were enjoying the sun with you. We've had a 3 lots of snow up here and a lot of it has been deep. Great fun trying to get to work in blizzard conditions.
You've managed to get to a few places that Terry and I never made. Will have to go back and do Taz.
Keep up the travelblogs and enjoy yourselves.
Regards
Liz

Happy New Year Hiya Leslie and Mike, good to hear that you enjoyed Xmas...we did too, though very traditional, Xmas eve in a Country Hotel, had a beautiful meal in cadelit dining room...jazz band playing quietly in the lobby..great atmosphere...spent xmas morning walking friends dog, Gordon Setter (mad!!) round Crathes castle, with snow underfoot, so very different to yours....New year in Fraserburgh with friends so plenty of companionship, and no domestic chore for me this year...it was a great chill out time..
Hope 2006 brings everything you wish for...and more happy travels..regards, Annette and the gangxx
Well played Well played you two .. all in all an interesting journey. Nice to see that you're making good use of digital technology.
All the best for the New Year.

Mirth in Perth The only thing I ever knew about Bangalore was that Colin Cowdray was born there! Hope your journey, Singapore-Australia, went well. We had an exciting period of snow clearing at TG before a 10 hour drive down to Penzance. We danced in the New Year at the Queeens Hotel with friends and recovered with lunch at The Old Coastguard in Mousehole on New Year's Day. Brilliant day of sunshine and no cloud today, so we're taking Zennor, the dog, to Gwithian Sands for us all to have a run out. We'll be wrapped up warm, quite a contrast to Western Australia! Happy New Year and safe travelling.
:-)) Welcome to our travel blog, we are at last again off on another adventure, another PS to the previous scribbles.
We live in the ancient Celtic land of Cornwall and travelling afar to distant lands, where we can experience other cultures, ancient traditions and culinary delights has been a passion of ours for many years.
