It all sounds like a fantastic experience! Meggie I hope you intend publishing a book on your experiences in India. I know how much I love your blogs and I am certain many other people would thoroughly enjoy to read them. XXX
kashmir You being ripped off all the time is my fear of travelling "alone". So often woman get the raw end of the deal but sounds like even Robbie didnt have much luck this time. Glad it all worked out in the end. Roll on November
Megs, Dahling, you forgot about the wedding during the month you were here......... How ould you forget that.... I have some photo's and will face book them sometime. My heart goes out to you, when I read about the filth and gob that you have to put up with. I don't think any of us have any idea.. Not too long now. Keep up the blogs it is lovely to hear from you.
Hey there. I just want to let you know how much I enjoy reading your blog. I came across it randomly. I was reading this post, which has led me to believe that you are from South Africa. The similarity to a Pick 'n Pay bag and the conversion to rands. So are you from South Africa? :)
I'm a South African Indian, born and lived in this country my whole life. I would love to visit India some day, the home of my great-great grandparents. Despite the stories of the unhygienic lifestyle, I would like to come there and experience th culture of India.
I look forward to reading more posts from you. Take care:)
yuk hello love yes I think I will be vegetarian for my time in India! Talk about another world! Not sure I would take a chance on this guy or have you already sampled the meat? Keep the blog coming - it is so wonderful to read and I can just see your face as you express these thoughts. love you sweetheart
Oh, my goodness! Fantastic writing skills once again. Please tell Rob that his Mother needs the loo every 20 minutes. And no squatting on a jiggling train . I would love to go to Jaipur though and the TAJ.

Wow!!!!!! Thanks for that Meg. It seems like you had the first lot of meat koshering away on your counter top! Not sure I wont be a vegetarian too when I get there. What happened about that meat and have you tried the secpo nd meat man???
Love,
Joanne

highlight Hello dears .... loving your blogs!
I've been sitting here giggling and having many "ahhh" moments reading your news. What a lekker experience .... loving the pics and the stories.
All well on this end ... nothing really exciting to report
wow well this is turning out to be a most unusual time in your life - make sure you take me to see everything! You MUST arrange for Joanne to go she will love it !! what about the fish pedi - have you done that yet? love you my darling
Oh, my aching feet! What a hoot! I hope they have some special massages for my aching feet. Its the one thing that bothers me about the forthcoming trip to India. I so enjoy the blogs, Meg. Please keep them coming.
Love,
Jo
You 'caucasian' clown!!! Hey there you clown!!
Your blogs are SO funny...I've tried to mail you but think my mail got lost in the Indian communication system..or maybe in the AFrican system, which is more likely!!
Your Indian life sounds like great fun....have you got a tan yet? And some Henna tattoos just to blend in??
Life here is still the same..the clients are getting more weird by the day....i've had to direct about 5 clients to our place, and dont ask how, I HAD to call them cause they did not want to use their phone credit...and one I had to go and fetch!! Where in your life???!!!!! So you're seriously missing out on tending to the transporting of the clients as well...
Still hecticly busy...I dont see Liesel often, as a matter of fact, I've not seen her since Christmas....so for all I know she could be in India as well!!!!
I'm waiting for a client right this moment, so if my mail becomes rudely interrupted I had to go back to the salt mines!!
Have you found a job yet? Or is harder work NOT having a job, and to instead, remain sane and pure English, with all that Indian influence?
Take care
Off i go!
