Very cool! Easy to picture based on the description, knew it had to be from that final scene in the Raiders of the Lost Ark even before I wiki'd it. Must have been incredible to see in real life
A wonderful summation of what seems like a life altering adventure. It sure is funny how narrow a perspective the media outlets we are exposed to give us of such a significant and culturally rich part of the world. Very nice to hear from the other side. Thanks for sharing dad!
Wow Great post - it's heartbreaking to hear more examples of Canada withdrawing from international commitments. I hope you're not taking too much flak for that. Also - please include a link to the photos! KLD
Sounds Awesome! Wow Dad, sounds like you're having a really cool experience, and really coming to understand the projects RTP has in place! I imagine you're just getting more and more excited about getting involved, getting ready to tell EVEN MORE people when you get back! Haha and knowing you, probably more than once. Great job on figuring out the travel blog, I'm glad to be able to hear about everything you're up to! Did you decide against bringing the laptop so you could upload pics? If you take any on you bberry make sure to send them to the family group! Also love the name, but can't take credit for it. Believe that was one of Angus' friends, but I support it wholeheartedly. Although I think it should be R.O.B. just so we're all clear on the reference!
FLD be safe!
