Hi Guys - You look like you are having such a chilled time - beautiful beaches, great people, glorious sunsets. Not at all like the sub zero UK with ice and snow and need for thermal underwear. Great to see Nath in his pants! (I guess they're not thermals!) I note there are no pics of claire in her bikini though - I can guess who's in control of which pictures go on the blog! Stay safe and have a great time. Lisa x
This looks incredible...sunsets? I'm all over it, love 'em! Railayis definately going on my list of places to visit - it seems totally idyllic and beautiful. Hope you continue to have a wonderful time and enjoy celebrating the big man's birthday ... am slightly jealous of your beautiful tans whilst I'm here looking pale with some interesting purple bits...although they're worth it for then fun of playing in the snow!
Love u both loads
Carly and Mike

Aaah the hair story! Bless the lovely lady! I think those fruits are dragon fruits or lychees - we ate loads of them in Thailand too! Tasty stuff even if they look like the devils testicles!

Wow Hey guys! Those ruins look incredible bet there were loads of creepy crawlies around to play with! The pigs heads bizarrely reminded me of Hallowe'en when they were on the bar in a pub in Dartmouth!! Sorry to hear about your nightmare border crosing but it's all part of the experience I guess! Hope you're still enjoying your travels .. pics look great. Mike would have loved those fish...he has the mingiest feet ever known! Have a lovely Christmas ... is didving still on the cards? Grandad is here beside me....dictating now....
"hello nathan and claire, have seen your blog...very very interesting, someone's a good writer should become a journalist!
who is it???
u've seen so many interesting things but i think having a fish pedicure reminds me of some telly programme of "get me out of 'ere" you wouldn't catch me in your fish pedi salon in Exeter any day.....rain or shine!!! leave that to you younguns!
anyway....keep going on your interesting trip and let us know all about it...i can no longer get round the world but am seeing more places at the puter from my new flashy recliner riser chair!!!
i'm a real bedded in invalid now...i do get out sometimes tho with my rollator!
happy christmas
love grandad....granny sends her love too
JEALOUSEA!! It looks soo amazin ... wish we were there with u and not braving the cold wind and rain here in England! The snakes in jars were cool - it's some sort of alcohol in them , we tried it on our day trip to Laos from Thailand during our Honeymoon and it made my eyes watger - apparently it's " gooo dfor man to make the sex long time" according to the little dude who flogged us a botle as a souvenir for Dad (subsequently confiscated by NZ customs!) Great pics - you seem to be having a huge range of experiences and making the most of the trip - think the blue PJ's are just their way of embarrassing Westerners - I never saw any locals in them! Missing you both but not wishing you were here ... wishing we were there!
Lots of love to you both xxxxxxx
Biiiigggggggggg widdle fisheeeeee and Naatan! Ha...wooooooooow!

woop woop!! Hey dudes glad to hear you're having a great time ... looks like Nath needs to get the green hinge out for his sunburn tho... thought you'd have learnt to use more suncream by now BigMan!! Lovin the sarong and blouse combo Norm - it's nearly as lovely as the denim mandarin shirt I had to wear at the royal gardens in the mountains near chiang mai - I never went anywhere without a cardi and sarong of my own after that - couldn't face the fashion disasters of oversized Thai cover alls!! Enjoiy the North - we actually preferred it in the mountains and jungles - much more peaceful and authentically thai but with some cool little bars still!
moma Sorensen is over here til Jan niow, am picking her up tomorrow to come stay on the boat with us so that should be fun.
ANyway, keep enjoying your trip and posting lots of pics for us green eyed monsters back here in rainy England
Love u both loads
