I was 4.5 years on Aria and managed the refit in Satun in Thailand before moving to Langkawi in Malaysia. I was going to be crew on board for the trip to Savannah however the Captain who was sent I did not want to go with so I resigned. I have lots of information and know Aria inside and out! I seem to remember it being very straight forward. It is around 25km from your hotel. Use google maps, it locates both your hotel and Buddha Park. Enjoy

It is sad Malcolm but more so the stories of the survivors who tell of the constant eruptions for around 2 years afterwards and the stench of still continually finding bodies... you can't imagine how people survive.
