Booze Cruise! Good to hear from you guys about the sights and sounds of South Australia. Getting to be summer here in Ottawa so see you soon. Sorry but there are no bottle shops or wineries to amuse the taste buds but lots of politicians to keep you amused- or not! I hope that you two continue to make time to enjoy OZ and each other as the former schedule of long working hours and lots of partying must get hard to maintain! Spoken like an old fart who has only been out 3 times this week!
I'm so doing this too... Hey guys....I'm sorry I haven't written in a long time, although I'm sure you two are very busy and with the rest of the entries you probably won't even notice that I wrote this one..HA!! But anyhow, I think of you guys pretty often and wonder what sort of crazy, amazing, (envious on my part) things you're doing. It sounds like you're both having a blast and I'm so happy for you of course. I'm extremely jealous however and I've decided that in the next couple of years, I'm totally going to do this. I'm going to follow in your footsteps and take my own year-long journey down under. I met a girl at a new job I started (no longer at James Street..) who told me she lived in Australia for a year. She said she absolutely loved it and didn't wanna come back. I'm afraid that may be the case with you guys...or worse, with me if/when I go down!! On another note, my mother left on March 26th to take her own 3-weeker down under...she's got quite the itinerary with her friend whom she's meeting down there. From San Fransisco to Melbourne, then from there it's a few days of trecking around Oz, and on April 4th they leave from Melbourne for Auckland, NZ for another eight days or so of trecking around...Then on the 12th of April she leaves NZ to go back to San Fransisco where she'll stay a couple days. Anyhow, all this to say that I have two sets of people to be extremely jealous of. I hate you all...HATE YOU ALL!!! J/K of course. I love you and can't wait to read more of your wacky going ons. Take care you two, and give those bank jokers a good piece of your mind Michelle-style!!
well well well As I woke up this morning, freezing as it is below -5, went outsdide to shovel my car..again...I realised how much I hate you two !!!
I kid, I kid.....soooo glad you are bumming the beach area...yeah so glad..arrrgg
miss and other hetero terms of affection..
Sally
Greetings! Hey Neil, long time no speak. We've been having a record-breaking winter here: Heat Wave! But it's been refreshing to read your exploits. I had misplaced the blog link Your name comes up every once in a while with the group wondering where you now are. I'll update them on your current status. Try not to let the scammer spoil your stay though I'm sure it is hard to look at it that way. Keep up the fun!
awesome HI guys. I wanted to let you know that I attempted to shovel my roof off this weekend so my roof wouldnt cave in. I fixed my mail box that the snowplow hit and I finished cleaning up the the tree that fell down in my back yard from the heavey ice/snow. Anyway the sun is out today and WIARTON willy is a LIAR.
Enjoy the sun, surfing and wearing shorts. See you soon!
Eat Drink and Be Merry Good to hear from you and that you are getting to enjoy Sydney's attractions. Enjoy your days off as soon Joanne will be moving in and she will be sure to have move in tasks for you two to help her with. Neil can paint the ceilings, as Jo has no ladder, and you can give Jo shoulder massages as she strokes out on the cost of housing in Balmain! Or better still you can pour yourselves champagne while Neil works his tiny ass off!
At Last Hope you do receive my greetings -you know how technically challanged I am. I have so enjoyed reading all your news-glad you are having such a blast-really miss you here, work is not as much fun!!!.The Fergus is now The Georgetown Inn -we have to have lunch if you EVER hit Ottawa Again.Love to you both .
Ola! I haven't written in ages!! sorry
I am so glad everything is going great for the two of you. It is really nice to read your stories.
Andrew and I and another couple just got back from a 1 week all inclusive vacation in Cayo Coco Cuba. It was absolutely amazing!! We were drunk 2 and 3 times a day!!! The weather, beach, food and of course drinks were unbelievable.
I am not sure if anyone else has told you but the Corel Centre has now been officially changed to The Scotiabank Place!! What a geeky name! but the radio has been going nuts over the nicknames..the vault, the bank, the CASH line ( starting line-up ) I am just waiting to hear about the discounts we might get!!
Anyways, as always have a blast!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! It all sounds so wonderful. I'm so happy you two are doing this (and only a tiny bit jealous that I'm not). Everything is fine here but I do miss the both of you a lot.
Thanks for the phone call Heather - I would have got it but it was early and I didn't understand the number till later when I woke up, then I was kicking myself for not answering. Were you partying when you called? It sounded like you were. Also thanks for the post card. I got it yesterday.
Next time you write, talk more about Neale - the bad speller who looks like Brad Pitt. I think I can speak for all the girls when I say we would like to hear lots and lots about him. Give him my phone number if you want...ha ha just kidding (or am I??)
Love Siobhan.
Yes!!!!!!!!! Great to hear from you and that the Kelly clan has been so helpful. Good luck in the apartment and job hunting. We will see you after the 10th of March when we arrive.
We spet New Year's at the Sheep listening and sometimes dancing to a superb 70's disco DJ and to the Hammerheads, a Prince meets Shaft, disco funk band.Sometimes the DJ would play and the band would take over and you never knew which was playing they were that good. And most people were your age, not us old folkies, and in full disco era costume Afro wigs and all! They were having a blast playing at the 70s, I was tripping down memory lane as I am sure I saw some of MY OWN 70s clothes on the young men!!!
So still at home recovering from the operation and will be for a month. And winter has arrived so no whinging about 19 and rain. We have no sympathy!
wanna trade places?? Hey hey lovebirds!! It's been quite a while since I've read your entries....Actually since I read the first one, so I had a lot of catching up to do! Well of course it sounds like you guys are having the time of your lives. I'm so incredibly happy for you but more importantly I'm soooooo jealous. This is something I SOOO have to do! Heather, I'm sorry I haven't called you after I got your message. I didn't write down the number and it got deleted. But now I have it (stupid me, should've checked here huh?) So I'll be calling real soon. I love reading about your adventures in...well drinking and sweating (damn it can get cold here) and I'm looking forward to reading more. Neil, how'd you enjoy the bartending?? Dream come true? Please oh please you two, you HAVE to have a drink for me...and MAKE SURE you toast to my frozen ass..hahahaha j/k. Heather, any plans in taking classes or teaching any??? Got a nice tan yet?? You wench...lol. Anyhow, only cool news I have is that my parents bought me a puppy for christmas...I got her a couple weeks ago!!!..She's soooooooo adorable..her name is Amber and she's a chocolate lab. Well listen you guys take care of course, and make sure to keep updating us. I love what I read so I'll check in more frequently and I'll call yous real soon!! All my love!!
P.S. Last night (December 17th) Hockey score was 8-2 for Ottawa...T.O. got their asses spanked!! Thought you'd appreciate that you buggers! WOOHOO!
The Snow is awesome Just wanted to keep you both up to date with the great weather here. I was lucky enough to shovel about 30cm of snow yesterday and fix my mail box which was crushed by the snow plow. Enjoy the heat. Merry Christmas and it is awesome to here about your travels. see you soon. Neil I am now the MPB at our branch. Later
Things could be worse than hot water Hey guys
Glad to hear that you are having a blast. Although I don't feel sorry for you that it is too hot over there because on Wed. morning we woke up to 2 1/2 feet of snow that we had to dig out of at our house and yes...it is snowing again!!! Tis the season! It's not so bad digging out now cause as soon as we're done we go relax in the hot tub with a cold one and the snow falling on us so at least we have something to look forward to now. Anyways everyone is great Nathan doesn't stop talking and Isaac is crawling around the floor and walking around the furniture everywhere. We will talk to you soon.
Love Carrie
What's up? Hey guys. Just wanted to say hi. Got the address from Olga at Scotia. Sounds like life is pretty fun down under, a lot better than the banker's life you used to know. Maybe you can find me a job doing dishes. Be there in a few weeks. lol. If I can clear it with my wife and child. Leafs are actually winning some games. I'm sure that won't last. I suppose you've heard about the unstoppable Sens by now. Anyways, keep in touch. Ciao.
Hoff and Mrs Hoff,
Sorry to have not replied earlier, just got settled in myself. Great to hear that things are going well. Hoff you're behind the bar, the best job in the world, meet all the locals and drink them under the table, or I guess that'll have to be up to Heather. 30+ weather too, ya that's probably hard feeling pretty good right about now, rained here for about the 50th day in a row. Anyways just a super quick hello, glad to hear things are going great.

How does this thing work? Hey buddy. Not sure how this thing works but I assume the comments get back to you.
Have been getting your messages but your calls are always at weird times like late in the day or during working hours. Give me you number and a time that I can reach you and I'll try calling.
Things going well with Steph and I. Had a great trip to Cali. Will tell more later.

News SOunds like life is full. I have yet to take your meesenger program off of our computer so some of your correspondents may think you are being snotty as I do not respond to all of the entreaties to talk. When you get on a computer again you might want to let them know it is not you but me. I have no located the program in my computer but sometime soon will pull out the instruction manual and search it down and get rid of it.
I did write to Marc and he said that he had heard little of you, like us, so you might want to give him an e-mail. Same re your cousin or nephew, I forget his name.
