Loving the posts! If I had a lot of money to spare, I would pay for you and Zach to travel the world and report back on what it's "really" like. I love the matter of fact reporting and find myself laughing out loud more times than I care to admit! :)
So.... How in the world do you get clean clothes if you don't wash them while you are there and your packing list doesn't contain nearly enough clothes to last 5 weeks? When I went to Australia, I didn't pack enough clothes. Emily and I ended up washing our socks and underwear in the bathtub and hanging them to dry. One outfit would have been $55 to have them wash it. Yikes!
So glad you are blogging again! Thailand is not necessarily a place I want to travel to, but I love the fact that you are blogging so I can feel as though I have been there without having had to go. Try to blog as much as possible because I will be reading intently. I want to see lots and lots of pictures. You can skip the guy in the speedo though ;) FWIW, I think it's great you are going for 5 weeks. It is true that life is toooo short and you need to enjoy it as much as possible. Traveling is your baby and you are taking time to nuture it! Enjoy!
Thank you! I am so glad you will be following us on this adventure. I'm excited but a bit nervous to be gone so long, but I imagine we will have some fun stories. AND If there is a man in a speedo, it is my duty to report muahahaha :D
Completely Thai Thailand is a beautiful place and full of natural beauties , culture. There is a lot of fun in beaches and get immersed with colorful Thai culture. Enjoy the late night parties in there and get high with unending sports and dining but be careful about shopping.Completely Thai

Thai festivals I'm glad you made it to the Ping River and sent your own lotus float downstream. I loved your pictures. I forgot to mention in my previous comment that Songkran is the festival in April which is a national water fight. Loi Krathong is my other favorite festival. From what I remember those were the only two festivals, but with the emphasis on tourism today the Thai seem to have a new festival every other week. I'm also pleased that you found the mangoes and sticky rice.
Thank you for your comment! I finally did find some mango and sticky rice at the Sunday Walking Street and it was AMAZING. I will definitely try the lime juice on the papaya. I think it is a bit bland so that shoud help. Thanks again for reading me :)
I love to travel... when I have the time and money! Both are hard to come by and can so easily be wasted. My boyfriend and I try to plan a big trip (international and two weeks or longer) every 2 to 3 years. We have been to Italy, Ireland, and Thailand. I wish we waited to go to Thailand because now I have no desire to go anyplace else but there :)... full info
