Now you've really made me homesick! My former name being Hebblethwaite, but not Ginger, I envied the Biggles flight. I could taste the Wensleydale (2nd favourite cheese, 1st being Swaledale). Really interested to read that Hockney has a studio in Brid., I knew he was back & I believe living on the Wolds. I'll check out the studio next year. I just need to win the lottery to have my old world back again!
Looks like you guys are having fun already! Wish we were there eating real Thai food with you... oh how I miss real Thai food! Safe travels, will wait patiently for the installment. Love you xx
Slim What With all the food you are eating it wont be for long! Looks like you are having a great time and giving us itchy feet, even though its only Aust on Monday. No where near as exotic. Enjoyed your blog and you enjoy your journey
Your Savusavu House Hi Kevin
We've corresponded via email in the past about the possibility of renting your house in Savusavu. Are you still doing this? If so I shall be there in October and am looking for suitable accommodation. I'll be by myself so the guest cottage could possibly work. Anyway thought I can only ask. If you are renting could you please let me have details of weekly rental rate (in either FJ or Aust. dollars). I can always pay into a NZ bank account.
Cheers .. Helen
Wow - mixed feelings about India It does certainly look squalid and filthy - but they look happy living that way, a very descriptive entry - I could almost "smell it", looks like you're having a beauty time though, do you think it would have been the same if you'd paid FIRST class? or you think the roaches would have been polished before you boarded the train? ha ha
See Caroline at times going to the ferry or walking with her freinds - she's looks fabulous! See you when you get back, and please don't bring any bed bugs home with you okay? hee hee Bev
Come in number three your time is up! I'm also not sure about that Dalwini dancing "girl?" A rug; have you smelt those camels? Hey, it's fantastic to see the sights through your travellers eye but I think it's time to come home. Looking forward to hearing many a tale.
