Dude, you're taking me back. I stayed at Canon St. It's like a huge warehouse. Do they still do free pie in the evenings? Is that the attached pub in the background of some of your shots? Glenelg beach is cool. That bottle wine that we had at Jon and Janis's was from the Barossa Valley. Damnit, I want to be there.
Dutch Treat Your blogs are simply great. Wonderful information, filled with humor and pictures, allowing us to tag alongside your adventures. It seems this episode revolves around Wine, Women and Touring. I know you are a huge wine coniseour so your wine tasting trip must have been spectacular. I can easily see you running a vineyard and your cellar door would be elegant, yet fun.
Sorry to hear you didn't catch a wife....not for the lack of trying, apparently. lol Anke sounds like a fun person and it's really cool you are finding so many people to hang with while traveling. I'm surprised you didn't pop into the casino and awe Anke with your roulette skills.
Keep having fun. Take more pictures and good luck with finding a wife with either an Australian or English accent. :)

Living it up on the wrong side of the road Hellloooooo Nathan,
It is great reading about your travel experiences. You have a wonderful way of describing the details and nuances in such a way that one surely feels like they are traveling right along with you. City Beach looks like it would be fun, especially with the tranquil waters. And how perfect you are sharing it with relatives. Great memories for you all.
I know all too well how tricky it is driving on the opposite side of the road. Try doing that in London sometime. As you know, you learn real fast. But the challenge is fun and quite rewarding, especially for you with stops at the Pinnacles, Koala habitat and Crystal Caves. Nice!
As always, your pictures enhance your terrific stories. I don't know how you took a picture of the Southern Cross Constellation but that was cool. Great beach shots, Pinnacles at sunset, Koalas and Kangaroos posing. Keep having fun! - Mike
Damn, you're taking me back... You're bringing it all back to me, dude, especially with the coffee ordering. One time I just broke down and asked if I could just get a plain cup o joe and they said they couldn't do that unless I wanted the instant crap!!!!!! WTF!!!!!! Anyway, I settled on the flat white as my preferred coffee beverage as it was the closest thing to a latte.
Good on ya, mate!
Eric
Glad you made it! Hey Nate! Glad you made it to your dream destination, since it is one of mine too, I will have to be content with your blog for now! Looks like you are having a great time already, and go hiking and snorkeling for me!
You're not in Kansas, anymore. Hello Nathan! Congrats on living out your dream and going to Oz. It sounds like you and your Dad are going to have a great time. Excellent story, Nathan. Your travel writing makes me feel like I'm there with y'all and easily surpasses most other travel writing. Fun, entertaining and informative. And, as usual, your pictures are terrific!
Have a great time, keep writing and snapping those pics.
Nice Job Oh yeah, Pura Vida! I've finally got to finish the last part of your blog on our trip. Very cool. I hope to be sitting on another foreign beach next year.
Jealousy I will be outside of Puerto Jiminez on April 13, and looking at your photos is making me wish I was there now. I am glad you have enjoyed your time down there. Maybe will will have to plan a big trip with the whole "group".
Amazing Nathan, your trip sounds amazing. Your stories were great and painted a wonderful picture of Costa Rica. I would imagine anyone reading your blog is completely jealous now and can only yearn to zip through the trees and across the rivers. I seriously hope there weren't any crocs waiting below. The pictures of the crocs were amazing and enough to scare me away from any body of water in Costa Rica. Loved the picture of you, Nick and Eric dressed as a stoplight. hahahaha. too funny.
Great pictures and a terrific story! Thanks for sharing.
Mike

Tulsa Time Nathan, I think I am going to thoroughly enjoy your travel blog. It's a great idea and a nice way to share your travels. It was great seeing you again and ultra fun playing poker with you once more. I completely expected you to walk away with the big prize at the poker tourney but I think it's cool you could cheer me on at the final table. Have fun in Australia!
Snow, Tubbing and JABOOZIE? I love the travel blog idea and your pictures and videos are terrific. They certainly make me wish I was up there enjoying the festivities, even if I haven't the foggiest idea what a Jaboozie is. :)
Nathan, I can't wait to see more pictures of your travels. It was great seeing you in Tulsa and please continue to follow your dreams. You've got talent kid and we know you will do well!

I'm an amateur photographer who has devoted the past year to become a full time professional photographer. For the past 8 years, I've worked in the DVD business as a Programmer and Producer. Hoping to escape the crazy, stressful life of the Hollywood industry, I decided I needed a change. So I quit my job, tied up my loose ends, and was off on some eye opening and memorable 2007 vacations. While traveling around, I continue to take as many photos as possible in hopes that they will someday fill my portfolio and supply me with future jobs. But while I travel, I also want to experience an... full info
