under African skies Seeing your pictures reminded me of how those African skies get under your skin. No matter where I travel in the world, Africa will always be first in my heart. Bravo, Noah. Well done.
African skies Was this the island where Nelson Mandela was held prisoner? Are the kids going out there on a field trip?Great news about the World Cup. As I landed tonight the first thing the pilot said was "It's the Sox going to the World Series." Love, Mom
Nice pics Dude, you always take really good pictures! Hohw do you do it? It's good to see that you guys still find time to have fun. Who knows, maybe by the time you get back you won't be the only one driving :P
Sailing to Antarctica Hey Noah. These photos are terrific, the best so far I think. Now I really get a sense of what things look like and the relationship of one place to another. So, if you stand where those fishermen are and look out to sea where the whales are, is that south? Are those waters from Antarctica?
What does Mr. Malinga listen to on his tapes? Is there great local South African music? Over and out from another continent. Love, Mom
My heart sings My dear Noah: It has been some time since we last communicated, but upon reading your latest post, and hearing of your amazing journey in South Africa, I feel compelled to write you. I do so with tears in my eyes because I know how difficult the times have been with you and your Mom. I am so proud of you for all you are, all you have become, and all you will continue to be in your lifetime. What a joy for any mother to read this. You are a gift. Thank you for sharing it with me. I look forward to hearing more or your amazing life.
Much love
Jacqueline
Great story Noah. Thanks!
Remember when we were going to have Tee Shirts made up:
"My Mom Traveled The World On A Fulbright and All I Got Was Intestinal Parasites"?
You've traveled a long way since then.
Thanks for the lovely postcard!

Mom yes, bungee no! Thanks for recognizing your mother's hand in your amazing life. Someone should write her biography. Also, please don't do the world's highest bungee jump. Also, please go back in time and don't do the shark cage!
Wow! Hi... I am a CCS alum of Ayacucho, Peru last Sept. and I'm thinking about South Africa next September. I was so excited to find your blog and to follow your adventures! With this being a new location for CCS I am very curious to see what you think of the location, people, staff, safety, etc.
I'm looking forward to further posts. Have a wonderful time and take in every moment. Be Safe.

Penguins and Sharks and Noahs, oh my! Dude, that sounds wicked awesome. Are they really called Jackass Penguins? Are they really jackasses? And the sharks thing, oh man, that's gotta be one heck of a rush. Sorry you kept losing your cookies, but that just seems like an amazing thing to do.
Proud of you Hey Noah, what gorgeous country. You sound happy and I know your Grandad would be very proud of you. Whenever he put an ad in the B.S. High School Yearbood, he always used this quote: "A man never stands so tall as when he stoops to help a child". Keep up the good work and I'll look forward to being updated. Love, Alice
African Skies How nice to see your blog. I never got Africa out of my blood, both in the spiritual sense as well as in the malarial sense. Blog on little brother. I'm in Ljublijana right now. Kind of a cool forgotten European capitol. Not sure of which country, though.
