Hello hello all! I am sorry to not have updated more frequently, Im finding internet cafes difficult to come by sometimes! Well first of all I am currently in Rome and so far the trip has gone just great! So ill begin by telling you about our previous cities! The last time I wrote we were in Munich, Germany. its funny how when things go wrong, they just seem to work out right So on Friday, we woke up and had our final delicious breakfast at the hostel (oh how i love baguettes and beurre! and pain au chocolat!). then we set off to drop our luggage off at Gare L'Est and headed off to Montmarte. We were following a Paris walks guide my parents gave me around Montmarte to Sacre Couer. For those who dont know, Montmarte is a region in Paris that basically is a hill and on the top is a basilica called Sacre Couer. So on Thursday we ventured out to the Normandy region to tour the DDay beaches. Once we arrived at the Caen train station we had planned on simply hopping on a bus out to the beaches and doing a tour ourselves, but that was not what happened at all... I heard a man talking to two American boys about a tour to the beaches and how he would drive them and simultaneously give them a history of the area and invasion. They noticed Michael and I listening in so invited us to join them on their tour, lowering the cost for everyone. Paris, Paris, Paris!! Hello all! Im sorry that I have not been as faithful in updating the blog, it seems that Paris does not have internet cafes? It is very strange! haha right now we are actually in Munich, but Ill tell you about gay Paris first! The chunnel trip was great, so quick and comfortable! I didnt even notice when we went under water! When we arrived in Paris on Wednesday around noon, Michael and I set out to find our hostel in the 4th arr. Oh the fabulous city of London Hello, hello all from London, UK! Everything is going just swimmingly (aside from the story I will relay shortly) and Michael and I are doing well. Our flight went well from Philadelphia to London, I am so glad that we did not miss it after our plane was delayed in Richmond. However, though Michael and I made it... my suitcase did not. At first, it was okay because I was told it would be delivered the next day (today) to our hotel and I did surprisingly well considering all I had was a dress and the outfit I wore on the plane (seriously! you can ask Michael...
