Overcast day and mostly needed long sleeves. Went off for a walk to the Burough markets before crossing the river and going to St Paul's cathedral. Didn't go in as it's £18!! Had a casual walk back home for smoko. Left for a cruise down the river and got off at Greenwich to meet with Louisa, Katelyn, Frank and James. Had lunch together before climbing up the hill to the Greenwich museum to view Meantime. Went back to their apartment for avo tea. Louisa is looking quite pregnant now. Left with Frank to walk back to Tube station as he was going to Heathrow for his flight home. Had a really nice avo with everyone. Dinner at home. ... read more

Finally a nice sunny day I'm general. Went on an early morning walk before catching an above ground train from Waterloo station to Hampton Court. We visited the castle residence where King Henry used to live. Great buildings and amazing beautiful gardens. Had lunch and returned home. After that we caught a Hop on/off bus around London which did not go well. We wanted to get off at St Pauls cathedral but he the bus took so long in traffic that we missed the closing time. We had yo change drivers, then buses and finally it stopped and we all had to get out and make our own way home!!! Fortunately we could walk it in 15 mins. The bus had taken 2-1/2 hours!! Cold wet day. But at least we managed to walk to Buckingham Palace in the dry. We went for a guided tour of the 'Mews, which was interesting. After we walked to Harrods and then through Hyde Park before catching the Tube home which was fun. We got really heavy rain in Hyde park and got soaked even with brollies. Sunny and overcast with a little rain in the avo. Out at 8 for a guided tour of the Notre dame. Then onto the Eiffel Tower where we went up to the 2nd floor. Great views and experience. We left the pack and walked to Arc de Triumph. Walked everywhere seeing all the main attractions and had lunch st Maccas. We went out to dinner and a Can Can show for our last group event. It was great. Be sorry to say goodbye to our new found friends tomorrow. Boo hoo. ???... read more

Slightly cloudy day but very nice. Had good buffet breakfast. Left at 8 for the highlight of the trip I've been waiting for. We went up the Stanserhorn mountain. Got cable rail CSR up half way, and then went on the worlds first cabrio cable car, which has an open air section. Once up the top (2000m), we had a stroll around looking the nearby snow capped mountains. The views and overall experience was just fantastic. My expectations were fully met. After we were dropped off at the hotel and spent the avo walking around the beautiful town. Had a cheap dinner in our hotel room. Great day... read more
