sounds great Hey Matthew,
Sure have missed the epistles. So glad you are happy with your decision. Sounds great to us. Looking forward to your cave adventure. Missing you. Love, nanny
Does that mean you have to go? Or now you have a choice? Either way, it's not Vermont! Carpe Diem! That's my latin for enjoying the moment - whatever the moment may bring! xok
BTW my moment is filled with Chase throwing up!
Hey! You should get one of those double decker buses for your favorite youngest boy cousin! Have you had weener schnitzel yet? It's mien favorite! Nanny and Grampi and I went to the Oyster Roast at the kids' school tonight - I ATE OYSTERS!!!!! Miss you! xok
Ricola you guys are so funny...now I,m gonna have the ricola yodel in my head for the rest of the day! By the way Matthew...I changed my plans once I started studying in Italy...I was supposed to go to Paris for second semester and couldnt bear the thought of leaving Firenze so I just stayed and continued on. It sounds like you will be having fun no matter what you decide to do. RLL
Riiiiiiiicolaaaaaa I'm sitting here right now sucking on a Ricola in fact! It's Ricola: Kirsche-Honig; Schweizer Kraeuterbonbon [Cherry-Honey: Swiss Herbal Candy]. B-e-a-utiful.
SO GREAT to "Chat" with you! The living arrangements sound great - forget the friends, you'd have cleaning!! Not as exciting here - but gorgeous! I hope you feel better - don't they have R-I-C-O-L-A!!!???
I LOVE reading your blogs! I can't stop smiling! I am so happy that you are having such a fabulous time and really discovering "your world"! I hope that when we see you in July, that you will still love us vulgar Americans and want to chat with us in English. Kat is the only one with a bit of German - YA! Miss you - call again! Nanny and Grampi are coming this weekend for a visit - it's 70 here! Thanks for including pics of people! :) xok
fall in vermont Hey,
pictures are great.......we saw the same only Vermont style. Absolutely breathtaking. Only we did not know how to use the phone camera so hense no pics...what else is new!!!!!! Can't wait to see what happens next with you. Love ya
Nanny Nanny's know a good student when they see one!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shall I feel honored that she reminds you of me???????????? Must be the brains too. Love ya
armpits They knock on the desks because if they raised their hands, they'd stink up the surrounding area!!!!!
Tip: In Bologna, every Wednesday night was Erasmus night at all of the pubs; Erasmus (and American) students got discounts on beers. You should look into that. Also, a good way to meet other Americans/Canadians.
just so you won't forget what it's like to be around me: your title to this entry makes me think of a beatles song that i'm singing now.
(getting better all the time...!)
but also, good entry. it makes your end of the day babble make more sense.
ha.
Dancing with the star Ah shucks I thought we might see you on Dancing with The Stars Austrian style if you got into the dance class...........how cool is that to have these girls help you with volleyball......Go Matthew. Love ya
bummer Too bad about the class.....no one notifies you by email or what ever.............. such a waste. Your roommate sure sounds like a dud...........name is appropriate for him. Maybe the girls think you are cuddly like a bear (yogi)
Absolutely no idea. I asked if it meant something in "Australian," and I even looked online at an Australian dictionary, but both sources said nope. They apparently just think I'm Yogi. I don't know whether to be flattered or offended.
Duuuuuh, which way did 'ee go, which did 'ee go? Heeeeeeeey Baboo!
poor you! back to the grind! class sounds interesting though. makes me queasy just imagining a 15 page paper in english let alone auf Deutsch! the weather here is fabulous - kids are outside all the time which is great. and lucy is able to hang with us outside with her shocker collar working well! call again! :)K
I am exhausted reading about your day! Amazing! I bet the castle was so cool (not literally) at night! I think you are so lucky to have connected with such great people - that would be awesome to live and work abroad for the summer - when do you get out of school? Maybe you could work there for a while but come home before we go back to VA - Katmando would miss you too much! Good luck with dinner! xok
your latest That sounds like a lot of fun faking out the Spanish kids. Often wish I understood Chinese, etc......
football is really big outside of North America......chocolate sounds good......classes must be starting soon.....really enjoy your tales.
