Union Station Hey Matt, well now that you got your taste of Elvis, you'll definitely appreciate Memphis. Are you going to Graceland?
The Parthenon is such an amazing building. Glad you were able to see it. Oh speaking of amazing bldgs. The picture you shot of that huge bldg with the clock tower. That is the Union Station hotel by Wyndham. It is a restored 19th century railroad station. It was Nashville's version of what Grand Central is in NYC. The hotel now is beautiful.
Awaiting the next blog :)
The last man on earth is in music city. so crazy looking at these pictures seems like a different planet. When this is all over, I want your map and route haha
My take aways from this post: 1. Charleston is a poor man's Woodbridge.
2. You need a GPS device. Seriously.
3. We need Jolly Pirate Donuts up north. Do they franchise?
4. You may be a Scientologist now. Tom Cruise may show up in the back of you car. Give him all the cash in your pockets.
5. The Predators have fans? Like, more than 1?
6. Keep the posts coming, this is shaping up to be quite a fun trip.
Godspeed Matt Paz!
History Hey man, keep the history lessons coming. I feel like I am watching an episode of Globe Trekker (love that show) or something. Definitely miss you back home, but so happy that you are doing this. Hope you are getting inspired by everything you see and do.

P.S. I think the peaks and valleys are necessary. They give us all a different perspective on our life...helping us to hopefully make wiser decision.
Nashville I think a little tear fell when I saw the pics of Nashville. I love and miss Nashville! It is such a great city. Oh that other little bar spot you have a picture of is Tootsies. It is one of the oldest and most famous bars in Nashville. I'm chuckle when I read your blog about Eli. That is the other great thing about Nashville...everyone has a story.
Hey Matt Beware of farmers wanting you to stay over for the night ! ! ! Have fun as you ride out of Nashville and into Memphis. What will your spound track be ? ! ! ! xxoo MOM
Post Apocalyptic Morgantown
awesome. Its difficult writing this with an idiot named Alina sitting next to me but sounds awesome and the West V Maryland thing is awesome haha
well we all miss you here darling
X0X0 much love
Matt, great first entry! I was laughing at your comment about the WV guys staring at you from the convenience store. That's WV for you...KY and TN coming up huh? Send our love and greeting to Evan and Jack :)) I know you are going to love Nashville. If you get a chance, visit the Pantheon, it is in the Vanderbilt area (Vanderbilt University). It's a full-scale replica of the Greek temple.
Looking forward reading more of your blog as your trip continues. As always be safe.
See you in NEW ORLEANS!!!
Glad you made it Very nice introduction. Good pics and commentary too. Keep in mind, the farther away you get from the NYC metro area, the less meaning "open 24 hours" has. But you're learning that, I suppose.
Godspeed Matt Paz!
