Hong Kong Hong Kong has some amazing nightscapes! Sounds like there were some excellent places to shop! That’s seriously crazy about one of the cablecars snapping off. Luckily it didn’t happen when you were on it! That is so funny that random people would come up to you and take pictures. How odd! I must say I definitely enjoyed reading all of your blogs. They were very descriptive and informative, and made me feel like I was right there with you traveling the world! I’m sure it feels good to go home after all this time though. Thanks for the postcards! They were great! I just received the Hong Kong one yesterday! :) See you in July! So excited!!
what a trip! Well babes, can you believe it, it's all over, three amazing months and I couldn't have thought of a better travel companion than you! Miss you loads, being over here in New York traveling around without you feels very weird! Miss you terribly...you're a friend in a million.
Keep smilin that gorgeous smile and never mind about the grey skies of Ireland!
Love Always,
Yours companion on the journey, Brenda xox
Cairns The photos of the Great Barrier Reef and its creatures are out of this world! Amazing picture quality. Aww, Harry the sea turtle is so cute! :) That Cape Tribulation roadsign is hilarious as well as very odd. Hmm yeah, I don't know what to think about that baby crocodile in the picture either. It does look kind of fake! lol. "Boom netting" sounds like fun, as long as you are wearing a lot of clothes! haha. Wow, I can't believe you have been in Australia all this time, yet it kind of seems like you just got there. I guess there's so much to explore that one could stay there for years! Have a safe flight to Hong Kong and enjoy! :D
Mission Beach Three cheers for whitewater rafting! What fun! Hahaha, it does look like Dean the guide is beating you!! I like those instructions for "hold on" and "sit down!" LMAO! Seriously sounds like a total blast though. Australia must have some awesome rapids! :D
Magnetic Island Glad you had a nice, relaxing time on Magnetic Island. It sounds like a chill place. Whitewater rafting is a lot of fun. I'm sure you'll have a blast! :) Just how old are those trees?! My guess is 2,000-3,000 years old. lol.
Greetings from Vancouver! 'Ello there, Susan and Brenda!
It's always great to read about what you guys have been up to. Looks like you two are having a fantabulous time! I've been back home for a few weeks, and have started full time school and part time work again. Gotta save up some coin for the next trip! I'm thinkin' Europe would be great (I was so young the last time I went that I don't remember much). . .much lovin' to you both!

Whitsundays Sailing around the Whitsundays sounds like a very nice, relaxing activity. Hahaha, I love how you wrote that you picked up a few necessities for the trip and sea sick tablets and vodka were right next to each other. lol. Why wouldn't bags with zippers be allowed on the boat?! It's cool that the whole group was twenty-somethings. I bet it would have been a very different atmosphere had there been older people with you. That picture of Whitehaven Beach looks so surreal. Amazing. "Disco Box" must be an interesting game to say the least. I'll have to try it sometime! lol.
Agnes Waters/1770 I am slightly confused too. Is 1770 the name of a town? I've never heard of numbers being the name of a town before, but I guess that's pretty cool. The Clay King must have given a very interesting tour. lol. You all look so tribal covered in clay! That motorbike tour looks like a lot of fun. A great way to see the area. Ugh, a giant cockroach! What a way to seriously spoil a nice dinner! :/
Fraser Island Oh, the joys of camping! hahaha. Fraser Island looks like a fun place. It's cool that you got to hang out with some other people who were traveling. That dingo pose is quite funny. Wow, the water at Lake McKensie really is three shades of blue! Incredible! Rainbow Gorge sounds amazing. The whole island looks isolated and like you're the only ones on it. The photo you took of the sunrise is simply beautiful and the pirate party looked awesome! All in all, Fraser Island must have been a great time!
Fab Figure Susan,
Must say you look hot in that bikini...man if I was a guy...you definitely haven't put on the "Sydney Stone" whilst traveling!
Keep blogs coming,
Áine x
Noosa Noosa sounds like a very relaxing kind of place. I'm glad you were able to rest up before the next part of your exciting journey. All of those BBQs must have been quite fun too as well as the Australia Zoo. That snake is huge! Glad to hear you had an awesome birthday! :) I can't believe they have Oprah in Australia. Crazy!! One question: you heard koalas mating?!?! lol.
Hello Hi Suze - sounds like you're having a fabulous time and Happy Bday. The celebrations looked like such fun. I accidently deleted your email address so send it onto me again....fi
What do they do with the rest of the shrimp.... when i saw the pics of you de-heading the shrimp all I could think of was when we went out to dinner for your graduation in DC and you thought that the shrimp served in the shrimp cocktail was just the legs.
"i wonder what they do with the rest of the shrimp...."
haha
i love you
Oooh! Oh I loved Noosa! Your so lucky!!
I bought my bikini there actually, i loved that bikini........sob :(
Sounds like your having a ball, keep up the good work!!
Brisbane Hahaha, the Yellow Submarine looks like a crazy place! That random faucet placed over your bed is the weirdest thing I've seen in a while. Very, VERY random. At least it was an experience! :P Aww, the wee roos and Bagel are so cute! Looking forward to hearing about Noosa. By the way, Happy Birthday in two days!!!!!!!! :D
Sydney Sydney sounds like loads of fun! I think if I was there I'd feel like singing "Land Down Under" too! haha. That's cool that you got to do some aboriginal dances, and you learned some neat things about their culture. The cricket game sounds very entertaining, and the view of the Sydney skyline is seriously incredible. I can't believe you ate kangaroo though. Yikes! lol. I have never heard of Byron Bay before, but can't wait to read all about it!

Melbourne Ahh, looks like so much fun! Glad you were able to have a fun Easter celebration despite being away from home. The sights in Melbourne look incredible. The photo of the Luna Park entrance at night looked amazing. I also love that view of Melbourne from Federation Square. Great photography! :) Hope you have a blast in Sydney!!
Skydiving + Ice Bar = Good Times! Excellent! I am so happy for you that you ended up going skydiving! It must have been quite the experience! I remember when we went on that kiddie ferris wheel at a carnival once and were freaking out so you've come a long way since then! lol. Skydiving is a great way to get over a fear of heights, and great pictures!! That ice bar looked awesome too. I can't believe the glasses and sculptures were edible. haha. New Zealand looks like a very fun place to be!
Zorbs! Hey Susan, thanks for the birthday shout out! I feel so special! :D Those geysers look amazing. I can't believe the ground is so warm that the people there can cook their dinner in those boxes. It must be an extremely different way of life than here. I think visiting a thermal village would be fun though, and those zorb balls looked like a blast. I can just imagine you rolling about down the hill screaming bloody murder. Hysterical!! hahaha.
Myself and my mate Brenda are about to embark upon the journey of a lifetime. I've always dreamed of going to Australia and now the opportunity has finally arisen. First we head to Thailand, then we jet set to New Zealand followed by our ozzie mate in Australia and then a brief 5 day stop off in Hong Kong! ... full info
