I'm travelling in three weeks, and like you, I decided to 'go for it' 12 months ago... The countdown commenced almost straight away and I've had a countdown timer on my blog since about 6 months ago! It rushes up so fast so get excited now! Good luck with the cash amassing... once you decide to start saving it's amazing what you end up with. I'm already 4k over my estimate! :)

I joined Travelblog at the planning stages of my first round the world trip which kicked off at the end of 2007 and now the trip has come and gone and is now and I have some great memorys and met some great people.
at the end of my travels i moved from England to live with my girlfriend in Denmark, It hasnt been easy but now i have work and im learning Danish and thinking of the next trip to take:)
