Snow only in Serra da Estrela?
Hello friend sorry to bother you blogg and sorry for my english.....now about that snow..its obvious you ve never visited Portugal in Winter ...it snow in many places in Portugal not only in Serra da Estrela...and it snow alot more in may other regions of this country try going to Trás-os-Montes,Beira-Alta or Beira-Baixa regions in winter you ll see snow enough and much more then you think ;) come visit this regions there is a lot to see in this beautifull regions to enjoy and discover . Penguins
Loved the photos of the African penguins. When Peter and I were in Australia 31 years ago, we visited a place called Phillip Island, and saw hundreds of fairy penguins, all waddling up the beach from the sea, in search of their babies waiting in their nests on the beach. Your photos reminded me of that amazing sight!

Hey Mike, I have been to Nice and Monte Carlo and agree. What a great place to see how the other half lives, and beautiful. Let me know when your ready to cross "the pond" by boat. I want to go with.
