Our Trip Mike
I am so enjoying our trip. It's great seeing so much of this fascinating country. I have one suggestion. as I don't know when I will be able to get back to this part of the world again I think we should go to the ancient city of Golog in Tibet and visit their ancient Buddhist Temples. They are suppose to be spectacular. It is not far away.
Let's go for it Bill
Brilliant Your narrative makes one feel that they are almost participating in your activites. I truly admire your graciousness in all your travels. I'm honoured I met you at Shelly's Mom's birthday.
Fabulous Photos You are becoming a true Swami..
Swami Definition: primarily a Hindu honorific title, for either males or females. It is derived from Sanskrit and means "He who knows and is the master of himself"
Thanks for the experience
Delhi visit Dear Mike,
Sorry for my "Delhi Bellie" during our visit. It certainly curtailed my travel radius. I really did like the bathrooms at the Imperial Hotel which you were staying. Hope your cold has gone away. Still it was great seeing you as always. Good luck with your travels and keepin touch.

Amazing! Hi Mike and Shelly!
Congrats on the win. This blog was your best yet. It was amazing for me to watch you discovering India through your eyes. Living in Asia and travelling to India in my younger days, it is interesting to get your take on what seems normal to me. I think it's so fantastic that you stopped in and visited with all of these people. What a great experience that we should all go through at least once in our lifetime.
I can't wait to read more about the trip.
Keep safe and keep the Pepto handy...LOL

Wow! I love the photos! What an adventure ... its so cool that you get to see India as it is, meeting local people living local lives. I can't believe you crashed a wedding, picked up hitch hikers and went to people's homes. Amazing, and wonderful!
Great!! Great photos. Amazing so many people invite you into their homes. My friends Cheryl and Graham (you sat with Graham at the wedding) are going to Bangalore in November. Graham's going on a business trip. Enjoy the rest of the adventure!!
WOW!!! Holy Cow - now we know where the phrase came from! Fascinating - things sometimes seem to change but in many ways remain the same. Interesting to see what's next!!!
A Fantastic Summary! Wow, what a detailed and exciting entry. I'm so glad we got a 'real time' play-by-play of your journey, and I'm glad you emerged with bodies and stomachs intact.
The pictures are beautiful. I wouldn't have the nerve to approach strangers like you do, and I'm glad to see how friendly everyone was.
Can't wait for the next adventure!
Best, Sandy
Congrats on Winning the Race! So the big question is who was driving (and who was navigating)!!! Can't wait to see the pictures......Looks like India will be happening Nov.15th - 23rd! Might be business but still looking forward to it! Picked up on the tip for lot's of Pepto and Immodium! Thanks!
Warm Regards to you both....Roger
I am going to attempt to keep a blog about my world travels. My daughter, Michelle and her husband Travis have been painstakingly teaching me how to use all this new technology.
Since officially retiring, I have decided to travel the world, doing trips that allow me to experience the things I enjoy most; motorcycling, horses, polo, trekking, spending time with my friends, seeing new places and meeting new people.
My first major trip was in April 2009. I took a trip with Ayres Adventures to South America (Esca... full info
