This Blog is Such a Great......skim. Yes. I finally just remebered that you two were going to keep everyone up to speed on a blog. But I have been super busy and kept forgetting about it. Sorry. I am impressed that you two have such and adventurous spirit! Stay safe! And by that I mean, Jess keep watching Mike's back ;) I look forward to not forgetting to look for your next entry!

Incredible! What an amazing adventure you two are having! From muling Sylvestrito to plastering a beautiful home with fermenting manure, I couldn't have imagined a better story! Keep bangin your drums and smiling, I love you both!!
Envy is greener than summer in Argentina I am so, so proud of you guys! It is such a pleasure to live vicariously through you while you trip across the continent on your adventures. The farm sounds like an incredible place; they are so lucky to have you!
Happy New Year Mike and Jess,
It must be nice to be in that area. Its sure is beautiful country. Now, you will have a tag along...me.
Take care and don't do anything that I wouldn't do.
Greg
your pain is our gain I love the Superman's fortress photo - be careful of Kryptonite... we're not sure how it affects you yet. Try not to make other travelers uncomfortable with your presence... how WEIRD would that be?
It's about time To Mountain Mike and Jess. That's what I call the trip of a lifetime. My brother's wife is from Argentina, she sounds Italian, too. My brother and his family go there often. Josh, my brother, is a horse vet of all things. He is into polo ponies. In any case, I am glad that you are getting into the Argentinian cheeses BIG TIME. Do you still like cheese?
I will have to catch up on all your blogs because I just signed up today,
Greg
You've come a long way baby IMPRESSIVE - Jess, it seems like it was just a few moments ago that you were walking hand-in-hand with mom and I singing Climb Every Mountain. Only then you had to stop every 5 feet to inspect each new rock and flower. Those hikes were never much more than a mile and now to see you two doing a trek like this. Mike it warms my heart to see you taking to this, or at least humoring Jess and doing it. I might have to ask Santa for a new pair of hiking boots so I can keep up with you (maybe ones with spring loaded extendo legs so I can match your stride). We miss and love both of you and can't wait till your back.
supuuuuur 'hey, pretty nice writing, i imagined everything so vividly. i'm so proud of you guys 50 miles is quite the trek!!!!
i love you and miss you all the time!!!!!!
earplugs? now, i have a question. what makes a guys shove an earplug so far into his ear that you can't see it. you have no loud neighbors, not living on a busy street. is it the avalanches? do you snore that loudly that it forced mike to find a skinny object and just keep cramming that puppy down there? i feel for your next two days there jess with mike packing only one working ear. on a serious note though, good work on keeping my daydreaming alive here in the workin world.
Incredible Hey guys, I finally caught up on your blog (raining today in SF, but Jose keeps calling me mike). Your trip looks amazing, and your descriptions sound like they are doing the views justice. The only shame is that neither of you fly fish, I'll bet you passed on some beautiful trout. I'm glad to hear you are having so much fun and meeting so many nice people. Stay safe guys, miss you.
Singing? I'm impressed The fact that you could sing anything while hiking up those intimidating mountains is remarkable. Great narrative and glad you two are surviving. Speaking of songs, Mike, there is one that your earplug story reminds me of...I think the name of it is "Beans in my Ears". Be careful you two! Love Mom
CRAZY You guys are totally NUTS! I can't believe the adventures you're having -- you are so brave and awesome. Glad to hear Mike is not permanently ear-damaged. Love you!
Wow!!! Thats all I can really say about all of your blogs. I am really glad I finally got my internet working and am able to see what you all have been doing and seeing. It looks and sounds absolutely amazing! I personally would have tried to ride the white stallion, but, then again thats just me. It was so good talking with ya the other day mike and I really appreciate all the support. Jess next time I need to hear your voice too though! Well keep on truckin and have a blast and I can't wait to see the next blog! Love you both so much!
Mr. Bentley
i think you guys have already done soo much on your time there/. and you have been there a month. i'm reading the blogs backwords, but you guys seem like great travelklers, hopefully hitting up all the dealsss.... ? love you
not much new here. :) oh yeah, i went bungee jumping onto a raft, white water rafted 10 miles and then the babies and us were so wet, we had to go home and rest. it was great. haha
love you
oh, michael is on all fours rocking back and forth, like ready, set, crawl!!! and isabella has dimples in place of her knuckles :)) soo cute!
wow. the falss sounded crazy. i bet it was a bit scary and soo9 loud. i loved the cafes and chillin on the street in ba too. i'm sure you were glad to get out of the city. love you, big mama c
Hilarious Your writing is awe-inspiring, son. I am so proud. No doubt your friends not only wish they were as eloquent as you but wish they WERE you. Tell your beautiful wife to be careful approaching wild beasts of any kind. I would hate to hear that she is moved one day to jump upon the back of a white mustang and never seen or heard from again! Take care of all cute (but untamed) creatures. That includes humans.
Cheese! You sampled 130 Argentinian cheeses?!?! Well, I guess now you're both official conosurs that I will envy for eternity; make sure to look down your noses at me before you correct my feeble attempt at cheese-know-it-all-ness. Jess - you would be the most graceful and stunning of mares.. Halloween next year?? Mike - you're damn right that mane needs to make a reappearance, and what better place to let it grow back to it's full glory than a backpacking trip? I love you guys! And I just don't wanna close my eyes, I don't wanna fall asleep, 'cause I'd miss you, babe. And I don't wanna miss a thing.
Baby Kangaroo As your mom, I am glad I didn't know about the hang-gliding beforehand. However, the photo of you with the baby kangaroo pilot in your pouch was worth it. Love, Mom
Mike! What are doing to that poor man on the hang glider? You know what else would draw a crowd? A giant, flying gringo with a tiny Brazilian man growing out of his stomach...
Keep rocking on. Sweet! I'm not sure what impresses me more, the hang-gliding gusto or the fact that you found an english dictionary with the word Pterodactyl somewhere in Rio. Glad to hear you guys are making the most of your time... well played Sir and Madam.
OMG! I can't believe that you guys did that! It makes my stomach churn just thinking about it! I'm so glad you kept running, Mike. So glad you're having an awesome time and making the most of each day. Stay safe, and we love you both.
Jess and I just got married in August and are embarking on a journey to South America where we will be hiking, farming, surfing, learning, and making new friends. We will be traveling until March. See you when we get back. We hope you enjoy our blog.
