great blog! Hi Erin, Just wanted to say I've really enjoyed reading your blog over the past few months. I'm going to be an assistant in a pueblo in northern Castilla y Leon called Guardo starting in September and am super excited. Are you renewing your beca for the 09-10 year to stay in Spain?
How spectacular Hi Erin,
What a magnificent place and how blessed you have been to stay there. I can just imagine all these wonderful visions of color whirling through your head. I'm so glad your parents could enjoy some of this with you. You truly have been blessed and you earned it too.

Sounds like you are corrupting those poor Spaniards with Jello shots and flippy cup! Next thing you know, you'll be playing the song "Roxanne" by the Police and half the room drinks when they say Roxanne, the other half when they say Red Light. (not trying to give you any ideas or anything...) haha
out on town Ginger sat here and read about all the fun you are having..
actually she's making it really hard for me to type!!
You girls will 'own' the town by the time you leave... I'm sure they will give you the Key to the City (or at least to the bars)
LOVE YOU>
naaahhhhhhhh did you do your sheep call to the goats???
Finally a night dressed up at the bars and you're too pooped to care. isn't life like that??? love you bunches.
Great Party Pics! I want one of those candy apples! Sounds like the party was a great success and, from your pictures, that everyone there had a fab time!
shrunken heads you could also make shrunken heads with your kids. Peel an apple and carve out eyes and a mouth and then stick it on a popcicle stick or something like that and let it dry out. it'll become a shrunken head. You can also stick stuff into the eyes like raisins to make them stick out more.... love you
Awesome pictures Erin! I could tell your having a terrific time.
The gardens are spectacular. Are the girls you are pictured with from the US? Thanks for keeping us posted. I'm looking forward to seeing you at Christmas.
Love,
Aunt Ala
little ones could you teach the little kids head shoulders knees and toes? they might like to learn some simple song, and that one would teach them parts of the body..... just a thought I had. I love you
I like to travel. I started this blog when I was teaching in Southern Spain. I recently updated to keep my family in the loop about my honeymoon to Croatia.... full info
