Resurfacing Hey you guys! Glad to hear you're somewhere, and it sounds awesome. I just crawled back into real life myself - back in NYC, though living in Daddy's apt. isnt quite what i was hoping for. I guess having a fabulous year has a price. Hope to catch up when you are back in the groove. Have fun kids!

Annapurna is amazing, awe inspiring and sooo worth it! hope u have had a brilliant last few weeks. arrived back in Ireland yesterday and are having a mixed cocktail of depression and delight at being back!! also have had the best cheese sandwhich!!!!!! keep in touch and agin was great hangin with u guys-be careful and enjoy!
i am currently going through what could only be referred to as the most allergized spring of my once uncongested life. other than a wicked eye infection from turning my eye lid inside out and pinch-rolling the mother, everything is going great. i caught my penis in the door also the other day which was a bitch because i had an appointment for a check up the day after the big crunch and the doctor couldn't help but ask about that hard left on my winkie-man which wouldn't have been so bad if i hadn't taken a major cruncher on the cross bar of one of the kid's bike's the night before and in doing so totally and semi-permanently implanted my little friend right in my anus. i don't want to sound crude or embarrass anyone but truly, it all would have been bearable if i hadn't had that "get rich or die trying" tattoo carved on the silent avenger when i was abducted last week by these anti-western, anti-middle-aged musician terrorists. i really can't get into that right now at all. the whole thing was just terrible, but kind of cool in a way too. you know what i mean?
other than that, we are gearing up for a couple of weeks in jamaica and we are packing up the house every day a little bit more. it has been a very exciting time. i am donating more stuff to goodwill so much that there seems to be a little bad will coming my way as a guy jumped at me with a dagger in the middle of the night when i was droppimg off my usual load of stuff, luckily i had an ornamental dagger on me from the donation load and the two of us went at it like something out of Aladdin. i finally took him out and threw his body in the Don, which was fine.
anyway, enjoy nepal and all of it's beauty.
shecky like; One time I road a rudderless hull of a skiff with Eleanor and was too new in this life to know that history is written by the bold...it warms my soul to see the captain of the H.M.S. Footy, otherwise known to me as the only real Guide I have ever had the priveledge to know, covered in the colored powder of life and devoid, to this day, of filler. Jeebus bless you both. With all my love...

kathmandu Recent (Mon April 10) article on BBC warned of extreme political unrest in Nepalese capital; Be Careful (your Cdn news junkie is here to keep you safe and informed). Temples sound fascinating! FYI Movie "Water" included scene with spring paint festival -just like your photos! Stay cool as best you can and yes spring is slowly arriving! Although I did drive through whiteouts last Friday!
Sounds Magical Enjoying the balmy 14 degrees celcius here, not sure I'd like the 40+!
Spring is in the air here and we had a nice day to celebrate Kaitlyn's 3rd Birthday (she is 3 tomorrow). We had a parade to the community centre at the school where we had a dance party - you should have seen the break-dancer want-a-bes. It looked like the older boys spontaneously went into epileptic fits at one point. So fun. Miss you!!

Don't Dare?! I assume that the don't dare leap in the water refers to its contamination levels of half-burnt corpses. As I recall, just before heading for India in 1992, Mick was the guy who advised me to consuime whatever was offered rather than give offence -- "Even if it is a glass of water from the Ganges man, just go ahead and damn the consequences." How conservative we all become in our old age. Mind you, even without drinking Ganges water, (at least not knowingly), I did contract a case of dysentery that took 13 kilos off me in ten days, and saw me making bargains with God from atop a toilet in a dank, rat-infested bathroom in the basement of the Calcutta Salvation Army hostel. So maybe you're right.
guitarzan yo yo yo it's ron on the line in sunny toronto. spring has sprung and everything old is new again. xavier is outsite on the scooter and hallie is on the monkey bars and zina is on the phone and claudia is on the way home and i am on the dinner duties. life is feeling pretty beachie here too as the warmth permeates the air and the sun stays up past 7pm! my guitar is gonna get a coat of paint tonight come hell or high water and the kids are gonna love my supper too!
i'll check the pictures you posted later. i know that you're having a great time so keep it up and good luck in your journey through the mother land of india.
peace

Thailand? So when are you guys coming to Thailand? After India has chewed you up a bit, you'll find it a great relief. Fantastic place India, but it can drive you completely nuts once you get off the beach.
Cheers,
Cameron
