ps - animal photos were great, what about the skinny dipping photos - don't tell me, no where to carry the camera!
Hello Thanks for the postcard. You sound as if you're having a great time! Wales has lost all 3 rugby matches so far in the six nations. Getting busy here as the election approaches!
Please work on spelling or will send back with red pen corrections!!! Aboreum is a place where there are lots of different trees. There's actually one near Wallingford and we use to pass in all the time! (Been on romantic strolls there with D.) If you move to London will take you to Kew ;-)
Ostrich is a bird so I guess it'll taste a bit like a chicken!!
Maybe the little sand creature was Yoda??
Clinique make-over????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love and hugs Lizzie xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Thank you, Michelle! Hi Michelle! Thank you for sharing your adventures! You sound like you're having so much fun! I'm glad that things are going so well for you. The facts about the sharks in South Africa were interesting. How did you enjoy sandsurfing? I've never tried that...I look forward to speaking with you soon. Thank you again for the beautiful postcard! Take care, Michelle!
Love,
Allison
rugby I bought the kids at the orphange a Welsh rugby ball and we've been playing with it a bit.... so if the Springbox beat Wales in 20 years time you can all blame me!!
:-)
It's been a hard day - your blog made me smile! . an extract from your 7th paragraph 'sex in the work place' - surely you are out there working etc., not disrupting the locals productivity!
. how do you know the pj's are 'very warm fleecy sheep pyjamas'?
I could go on but still mourning Wales loss to Ireland on Saturday - perhaps you could bring back a South African rugby player!!!!!

I appreciate you asking around to see about insider views regarding the Tamboti project. I'm sooooo excited!! I'm a biology major, so having the opportunity to go and do research on a reserve in S. Africa seems out of this world; it should be extremely interesting. I'll let u know if I come up with any AVIVA questions.
Hellooo out there Hi Michelle, Wow, so much has happened to you out there - amazing stuff. Hope the babies are behaving themselves. Now I have found your blog I will try to keep up with your adventures. I've moved into my new house so I've got broadband - hopefully will help me to keep in touch! *H*xx
croeso! glad post got to you ok!! I was very surprised at speed!! I have emailed all my photos so far - maybe you have them ok?
Lots of love and thanks for posting

Thanks Hi Michelle, Thaks for the birthday prezzie - arrived two months early!! I shall hide it somewhere until March.
Glad you are enjoying yourself. Take care,
Emma.
'little animals' Hi - best of luck with the children - I don't envy you one bit on that but I do when you talk about Table Top Mountain etc.
'On top there were little rabbit like animals, I forget what they're called' - they are called 'Dassies' if they look like outsized fluffy guinea pigs - they are not infact rodents at all but the closest living relatives of elephants!
No I am training for the Quiz Team - I remembered their name started with 'D' and found the rest on page 88 of my Rough Guide to cape Town'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have fun - remember to look at www.scrotary.blogspot.com and post the odd comment.

Table Mountain Sounds like you're having a great time.
The vaseline is probably to prevent nappy rash, not that I'm an expert in motherhood or paediatrics or anything!
BTW did you know that there is a Table Mountain in the Black Moutains in S. Wales? It's profile is similar to that of the one you went up but suffice to say that the Welsh one is a couple of hour's stroll and somewhat shorter than the one in S.A.
Have a good weekend. I'm looking after the 8-11's tonight and the 4-7's tomorrow. No idea how to entertain under fives. You sould sing to them or show them picture books I suppose. Sorry!!
Take care,
Emma.
Shw Mae! Hi Michelle,
I'm so glad you've arrived safely and that you're having a good time. I am invigilating a three hour exam (yawn) but I'm allowed my laptop in with me so I'm taking advantage of wifi to send you a message.
Jane Goody got evicted from the Big Brother House (who cares, anyway??) after apparently being racist. Meanwhile Anday Murray is out of the Auzzie tennis open - lost in 5 sets to the world number 2. Don't know about the rugby! Weather here is cold - freezing at night, even in Aber and not much above 5 degrees during the day.
Have just bought an unlimited swimming pass for £2.69 a week at my local leisure centre. I'm swimming lots more lengths now and really enjoying it.
Welsh was good last night. I was able to talk quite a bit. The whole North Walian-South Walian thing is a pain though. I say one thing to my friends and another thing yn yr Dosbarth! Never mind. I'm getting the hang of it.
Enjoy the Rotary on Friday. One of my friends flies to Uganda on my birthday to work with a water project.
Take care and hwy - have fun.
Emma.
PS: Mum says she can't read your blog but I'll print it out and snail mail it to her :)
Happy travels!!!! Hey, hope by the time you read this you'll be settling into the orhanage in South Africa. Takes awhile to get used to different way of life, took me at least 3 weeks in Kenya! Can't wait to see photos and hear all about trip ;-)
PS I can't belive you put MY photo on YOUR site!!!!!!!!grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr WHich incidently shows you holding the wine just for affect as you were tee total that night I seem to remember!!
