Spain has always been one of my dream destination, and finally I get to visit it now!!! I hope this trip report will help those planning to go there, as for me, I will definitely be BACK soon!!! For Air tickets: Use my miles to redeem for SIA Business class ticket for SIN –ROME-SIN, had to do this as it will need double the miles if fly direct to Barcelona (BCN). Vueling airline was having a sales in Nov and I booked my ROME-BCN on Vueling in Nov 2011 (€46) I had to see Guggenheim Museum but did not want to stay in Bilbao for a night, so booked BCN - Bilbao - Malaga flight (€97) For our return trip, Easyjet timing is better, Madrid to Rome cost us (€47 each). My U.S. Trip! 27 Sept 2008 - SIN - NY Finally here!!! I have been saving for 2 yrs in order to go on this trip, both cash and Krisflyer miles (240,000) I was so excited we get to fly on the all new Business Class direct flight on Singapore Airline; and this made 17 hrs flights from Singapore to Newark a breeze. We count ourselves very lucky to be on it as SIA has discontinued redemption on this direct flight. I made my reservation since Oct 2007 before the new rule kicks in, and they honor it. (Kiasu has its advantage). The seats are huge! Can easily sit 2 of me! And the LCD is 15.4”! Shiok! We had a good sleep, but I was almost stuff to death by food, they keep feeding you, ... read more
