Hello Hey guys, I just did a quick catch up on your vacation, wow!! Sounds and looks like you are having a wonderful time. Can't wait to see more. Take care and drive safe. Happy belated birthday Mel. Sidenote: Your entries are hysterical, you should consider being a travel writer for some publication. Love and miss you all......Lora
Ferry I hope you get to ride the fairy over to Sausalito. I took all of my guests on that trip when I lived in SF. BTY they serve beer and I think even drinks on the ferry
i can't believe you were in san fran. i am actually living out here (palo alto) for three months. i was also at the sf gay pride march. wasn't it great?! it was amazing. the acceptance alone was worth going. you should give me a call sometime. i am traveling the US with my partner angela as a travel nurse. we have been in san diego and now palo alto at stanford. we will be going to john hopkins in baltimore at the end of august, then on to an assignment at home for the holidays. after the brief stop in norman america, on to hawaii for about six months. i would love to hear from you. email or call amyrn@cox.net or 405-239-0848
woohoo! Wonderful, amazing, awesome!! I'm so jealous! Love the blog, the photos, I can pretend I'm there. Thanks for sharingyour experience.Enjoy, be safe, happy trails!! :)
What, no warning about UFO surroundings?? Ok, so I'm finally catching up on my email. You know reading your blogs, so forth and so on. And, I read this letter only to find out (too late, might I add) that you will be discussing UFO's in a small portion of this blog. You know, you're nice enough to warn mom about not reading any further when it comes to fires and dirt roads traveled but you can't help your own sister out?? ;o)
I love you thre ladies. Finny, Bella and Mazzy, and of coarse their wonderful Auntie M are all missing you. We're glad you guys are having a great time but they wanted me to tell you they can't wait for you to get home so you can give them a bath. We move into our new place on Friday and I think I'm going to take the doggies to mom and dad on Sunday or Monday so that they can have more fun with cousin Binny and I don't have to worry about them through the hassle of a move. More from the puppies and I later. Take care, be careful, we love you and miss you too. Kisses from your kiddos and I, Megs
Zion Mel - Did you remember that our son-in-law, Chris, was a park ranger at Zion? We, too, have done the Narrows and saw lots of wild life there. You used to be able to drive yourself through Zion rather than the tram. Did you see the petroglyphs? Oh, I forgot, you saw the naked men instead!! Have fun! Love you!
Great Dialog, but Check your pictures Mel,
Your narritive is fascinating and I am enjoying it greatly along with the pictures, however in the blog about reaching San Francisco, going to the Gay Parade, ChinaTown, etc., the pictures are not showing up in any of my browsers, i.e., Safari, Opera, or Firefox. All that we see are black squares with the captions , "Start of the Parade, " "parade2." "parade 3," etc.
Thought you'd want to know.
As for Yosemite, it doesn't look like Hetch-Hetchy is going to run dry this year by the looks of all the snow up on the mountain tops.
Best Regards,
Dave
your trip Hi Mel, Mich, and Liv:). I am enjoying the blog, keep it coming.
My new work has me buyied so it's nice to live vicariously through
your fun. I miss you and discgolf. later
Paying homage? Did you pay homage....I was born in Clovis (or as I refer to it, Cowpatch, New Mexico). Surely there was some statue or a street named after me.... :)
WWJD indeed I mean....what about all the good things Jesus did. Why does every statue of him have to be on the cross....why can't we see him lounging around reading or maybe picking up his flowing robes from the cleaners.
whowheee Whoowheee,
Sounds like a bunch of fun already. Read your first travel log to Jenn and the boys. That's right Jay and I have been hanging with the Ketzs all this week for the NT in Michigan. Jenn got fourth to cash and I won my fifth NT. We played "Can't Stop" with the younglings. The age guide of 10 and up might be right on. Jay filled in for Tosh (7) and Webber (5) wanted out from the start but hung in there to win. It has been fun as we played lots of games and Jay is Webber's video game beeitch. Japan was an experience that is better told in person. One word..rich. We will have to go to a National Park together because we bought it it for the same cheap reason. Love ya for who you are. We all wish you continued fun, great sights and safe travels.
Surfs up and shiny roads,
Des, Jay, Jenn, Tony, Tosh and Webber
Oh my God I hope you have a wonderful time, the pics are great, I wish I was with ya'll. Congrats on O's big driving escapade.. keep writing we can't wait to hear more.....Robin says she is very jealous. She has also been there and would love to go back. Be safe and we love ya'll.. Love, Doe and Robin
Is it getting better?
Or do you feel the same?
Will it make it easier on you now?
You got someone to blame
You say
One love
One life
When it's one need
In the night
One love
We get to share it
Leaves you baby if you
Don't care for it
Did I disappoint you?
Or leave a bad taste in your mouth?
You act like you never had love
And you want me to go without
Well it's
Too late
Tonight
To drag the past out into the light
We're one, but we're not the same
We get to
carry each other
carry each other
One
Have you come here for forgiveness?
Have you come to raise the dead?... full info
