Good Morning
I am glad to hear all is good, the trip overall seems to be going well. The weather here has been good with the exception of a few rainy days. Not much new, baby Hunter is thriving, he likes to eat. Devan is doing great, very relaxed, enjoying her new life with Hunter. Mylee turns a big 2 on Friday, we will be celebrating Thurs. Robbie is playing again at the bar, we probably will go and hear them play. Enjoy your site seeing, talk to you soon.

New Orleans
I definitely have a trip to New Orleans on my list of things to do!!! Is Bill eating anything yet? Carter would love the seafood. He had a great birthday and had a blast at Wonderland. Keep posting! Love, Shan

Beads... :)
I had to laugh at the comment regarding the beads! I know you are a smart woman and I am sure you are a fairly zesty one at that~ but I hope you got your beads the legit way..... Ever watch Jerry Springer and see the lovely ladies and what they do to get "their" beads? Or Jerry Beads as they are most famously called? ...oh dear I thought our engagement photos were a hot topic and embarassing enough :) I don't wanna be seeing my future mother-in-law topless in any photos please! That would be incredibly difficult to explain to Kale where and why his Nana got these colorful neckalces! I am sure Daniel has explained what it means to get the "beads"....glad you are enjoying your road trip thus far.....we can't wait to see all the pictures. Much love, travel safe.....xo Kale, Tonya

lovely treelined streets. if you need a break for some ice-cream, ask how to get here, The Creole Creamery at 4924 Prytania st and try to hit Frenchman st if you have some time at night "The Frenchmen St area, between Esplanade and Royal (just outside the Quarter) may be the best concentration of live music clubs in the world. Most nights, you'll find great local bands playing at clubs including Snug Harbor, dba, Spotted Cat, Apple Barrel, Cafe Negril, Lazziza, Blue Nile, Rays Boom Boom Room, Dragons Den, Checkpoint Charlies, Hookah Cafe, and the Balcony Club. That's a dozen clubs in a short 2-3 block stretch. Jazz, blues, rock, funk, and more. Most with nominal cover charge, or even free..."

The girls were excited about hearing your voice today. Ashley had orientation for school tonight and, after a lot of crying, had a great time and cannot wait to start kindergarten. Hope you are having fun and soaking everything in. Love you both
