Madrid has become a favorite of my and Robyn's. I first came here on a school trip to Spain with a teacher who I consider a close friend. Later, I brought Robyn here, and it was on Cava Baja street that got engaged (in Spanish!). We love the culture, the art and especially the food. It's easy to eat good here for cheap, and it's easy to have a good time. The city is so safe and walkable, we wanted to spend a month here, so we did. I'm only going to do once blog post for the month we were here, with maybe an additional post for the side trips we did to Toledo and Segovia (via El Escorial and the Valley of the Fallen).
