luxury travel competition Hello,
After reading your blog, I was wondering if you might be interested in entering our travel competition? We're offering the opportunity to win a luxury tour of North India, simply by sharing your experiences (and photos) of India, or by telling us why you'd love to visit.
We've teamed up with some of our exclusive hotels partners in the region to offer this amazing 14-day opulent adventure for two people, worth over £4000 ($6200, A$6000, €4900). Starting in Jodhpur, the 'Blue City, the tour passes through Rohet, Ranakpur (including a fantastic leopard safari), Udaipur, Bundi, Ranthambore National Park (yes, a tiger safari too!) and finally Rajasthan's vibrant capital, Jaipur.
The competition opens on 3rd January 2013, closes on 15th February and is open to anyone aged 18 years or above who is not resident in India. The prize is transferrable, so you can always nominate friends or family if you are not able find the time to travel.
To celebrate our partnership with children's literacy charity - Katha Children's Trust - we will also be making a donation based on the number of people who vote for competition entries by sharing a link on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ or via their blog or website.
To take part, please visit our website: http://rajasthanwithwire.com/win-a-luxury-trip-to-india.html
If you know anyone else who might like the chance to win or simply to help us support Katha, then please forward this email to them or share via social media. We really appreciate your support!
Thanks for your time - we hope that you will be able to participate.
Best wishes,
Gerd, Khaled and the Wire team

Elephants and Monkeys What a wonderful account of your experience. Elephants are indeed a humbling part of creation and I do envy you this experience. However - you are all the richer for all you have and are seeing and these memories and experiences will no doubt contribute significantly to the shape and direction of your life going forward. While i look forward to seeing you next week, I also realize it will be a wrench for you to leave this land that has crept into you heart. Love mum
I am tearing up reading this. You are so precious, to Him even more than you are to me. As you try to keep sight of Him, remember that even in the dark He sees you and knows you and will hold you until you are ready again.
Hi from grandad David Dear Ben, Jo and I have been wondering how you have been getting on, following you in our minds and in our prayers and this evening I finally got this link to your travel blog whe I was talking on the phone with Mark just now.. Your description of your travel experiences so far are most illuminating and we begin to understand the very real life challenges you have been experiencing. I am sure I would find India a very challenging place to travel solo in. I think you have managed admirably well and our prayer is that the whole experience will have strengthened your faith in God and given a whole new view of what God has for you in your life.
Mark tells me you will be coming back sooner than expected, so I hope we may see you after all at the big wedding in Nelson and then hear more of your adventures.
Jo and i are heading off to Sydney tomorrow morning for a week of R & R to use up some flying points we just recently discovered we had. Never been thwere before.
So may God bless you and keep you safe till we see you again
Love from us both David
Ah yes grasshopper Grasshopper - you write well of your travels you do :) (OK so that is a bad mixture of sage and yoda). I think there is definitely a book in this Man Tramp, and I'd be happy to be your mentor along the way.
For every journey there is the delicious anticipation of the next...
Keep writing. Keep feeling. Keep finding.
