One of us mentioned that... Apparently the Way Back Machine is hard to search and not very specialized. There seem to be several of these projects going on. Another lecturer mentioned their own specialized archive. I am skeptical about how they validate the reliability of the info on the websites. I'll tell you loads more when I get back

Internet archive
Well, there is already the internet archive/WayBackMachine... http://www.archive.org/index.php So is the archive you're talking about supposed to be a dead-tree one rather than digital? Or is it thought that the Internet Archive might not be reliable/permanent enough?

amazing...
It's amazing that the brits are that old fashioned that they would want to preserve old webpages! I totally agree with you on that and I think if they really think the data is that important to have some sort of sub-division of their website.... Thank u for the beautiful postcard!

Not so boring
Hi Lauren, I didn't think this information was boring. I found it to be quite interesting. I especially liked the fact the an american woman was in charge. I also enjoyed seeing a handwritten version of Alice in Wonderland. Well, keep on writing. Love Mom

Those brits have an unfair advantage, even bad poetry sounds good coming from a drunk if he's got that accent...
