hello hi lucy,
fab photos as always- sounds and looks like you're having a nice time despite the weather.
Just cleaned up my desk here in Cornwall, can't believe I'm leaving Exeter/Tremough having been down SW since 1999! Now off further west and possibly even wetter!!
Happy Christmas for next week, Happy New year for the week after, and see you in 2009 (maybe in Dublin!!)

Hi Hi Lucy
Looks like your having a fab time. Bit more glamourous and exciting than coffee and cake at Cannon Hall! Although the cake was pretty good! We all got together last weekend for a good natter before Christmas and just to let you know we were thinking about you. Everyone said how they enjoy your blog! I'll say Happy Christmas in advance, as there were one or two smug people who had written cards, sadly I wasn't one of them. Looks wicked, I love the penguin sign, and the loan penguin surveying his domain! Keeps us updated. Love Amy
beautiful views.... I love all these pictures, particularly those of valley of the moon, sunset at valley of the Moon..they gave me such as peaceful and calm feeling...amazing really!
now you are in chile, are you tasting many types of famous white wines?
it's really an amazing trip you are having! Lucy, while viewing your photos and your short stories, I often find myself immerse in your world as if I were there experiencing ans seeing those lovely views from my proper eyes.
Especially the macchu Picchu part, I absolutely love it! since I was in college studying spanish, and learning Latin American history and heritage, I established the long term desire to visit it myself!
now you are there already, standing in the ritual sites of macchu Picchu and jungle forest! it's really an amazing trip you are having. I hope one day I can make my journey up there soon after you!
Please keep updating your travel diary, I really enjoy it. it is actually one of my best pleasure times in the hectic research work..
wish you all the best!
xxxx
Glad to hear that the photos are going down well, i will certainly keep obliging whenever i can!! I love it over here and fear that there will be a big crash to reality when i actually have to use my brain again at the conference in New Zealand!! Lucy xx
I've got to second Naomi's comment. Your pictorial blogs are a very welcome relief back here. The pictures are great and it's fun to be able to chart your progress. All the best Lucy.
looks like fun the photos are, as ever, fantastic! You look like you're seeing some super things, and taking some ace shots. Sounds like a big amount of fun is being had.. Is nice to take time out from work to look at something so nice and positive!!
Hi Lucy, just caught up with your blogs, they are great and the photos are brilliant. You are missed back here, but your trip is good inspiration to get the writing up flowing, the quicker to get out of here...love Stevex
