Glad tohave you back Hi Simon and Lou - so glad to have you back, I've missed my armchair travelling! Hope you get some serious snow soon - have a good Christmas. Sue (Ash)
Final Destination Congratulations ! What a fantastic achievement. We've travelled with you via the blogs and enjoyed every minute. It's a good job Simon that you didn't inherit my cycling genes or you wouldn't have got to the Severn Bridge yet !! Looking forward to the blogs about Odessa, the train journey and Berlin. Lots of love and good luck Naomi (Simon's mum)

Intrepid travellers! Hi Lou and Simon. Just to let you know how much I'm enjoying your travels. I've laughed, almost cried at you accounts of places like Auschwitz, been frightened witless by your accounts of camping in dark forests - even my knees ache with you! Well done they're brilliantly written. Safe journey.
hey babes Hey babes, Glad to see you are still blogging, it sounds amazing I wish I was there...... but no I'm in Newport Hospital!

Hi there. At last I have caught up with this (to me) new bit of technology. Glad you are having a good time overall. Your journal makes interesting reading, I tend to agree that non-touristy places/areas are more rewarding than those thronging with human kind, nice as they may be individually! Hope knee (L) and arm (S) are better. All the best on your next stage and I look forward to reading about it soon.
Why not do a loop. Hi Lou and Simon, Its been good reading about your cycling, I can´t believe you have cycled across Europe nearly! Why stop there? you could do a round the workld loop and finish up in New york or somewhere before heading back to the UK! That bone place sounds pretty nuts. Are you going to go to the Salt mines with carvings and a chaple. It was mentioned in my Book "Salt" remember (the one that you borrowed and didn´t give back). That sounds fantastic and its in Poland I think. All the best. Cath
Is it better to be cycling free rather than back to the grindstone? Hi Lou and Simon, I'm really enjoying your travel blog. Glad to know you're all clean and fresh now - as well as having time to send us the latest news. I found the language difficult in the Czech republic too, on the road signs as well as communicating with people. You've certainly seen a range of different cultures as well as different places, has it changed your outlook? Keep enjoying yourselves. Thinking of you both. Lots of love xxx
Guten Tag Lou and Simon Glad to know that you are both having such a great time. It takes a bit of camping to really appreciate the luxuries of life like a bed and a warm shower. You seem to have had some good adventures and I hope that you have many more on your travels. Bon voyage (I'm in Brussels at the moment - so I'm practising my French!!!) xx
spiders? Hi Lou and Simon,
wish I was there!! Any spiders in the forest, sounds pretty scary to me.
keep having many adventures and taking photos

Bonjour! Hi Simon and Lou,
I've just got back to Brussels after a gastronomic week in Cefn Mably and have read your first two blogs with great interest. It's been great to read the account of your travels so far - I think you're both brilliant and brave!
I'm going up to Holland myself next Sunday - to the island of Ameland for a week's cycling for the fourth year in a row. Yes, it's the ideal biking country, people are so nice and friendly. and everyone speaks English!
As they say in these parts, "bonne continuation" and keep us posted as you go along. (I hope your Folkestone camp-site experience will never be repeated!)
Take care and best wishes, Sue
nice legs. Hello Lou and Simon, A real pain about the panier. What a pain in the bum. So soon into the trip as well. On the bright side though, Louises legs must be looking good by now.
