After the Summit to Asbury Park, New Jersey with my friend Conrad

After rooming together during the 22nd Annual International Black Summit in Birmingham, Alabama, in 2012, Conrad and I decided to room together for the 23rd in Ottawa. We also decided I would meet up with him in New York/New Jersey and we'd drive from there to Ottawa, room together and then I'd stay at his "new" home in Asbury Park, New Jersey and check out the changes he'd made to his apartment in Harlem, New York, which was now functioning as very lucrative rental property.

Unfortunately, Conrad got sick on Tuesday and was still ill when I left on Thursday.
