Apparently Kampuchea was too difficult for foreigners to say, and so the official name of the country is now Cambodia. I can see no reason to change it myself, but then I thought that about Jif and Marathon. Maybe I just don't like change. We arrived in Sihanoukville on the Cambodian coast, a town we were visiting for two reasons. Firstly, we hadn't seen a beach for a good few weeks, and secondly, we needed to get two visas while in Cambodia: Vietnam and China. I'd heard stories of the Vietnamese visa being available instantly at the consulate in Sihanoukville so off we went. 16 minutes late, though $80 lighter, we had the visas in our passports!
