Hey America! Europe » Italy » Tuscany » Florence
Going on two weeks in beautiful Florence and the city continues to change everyday as more and more shops and restaurants open everywhere because the Florentines are coming back from summer vacation. Its a very busy city, to put into perspective its said that there are 1.5 cars to every person including babies and the elderly in this city, including Vespa... so you learn right away to walk on the sidewalk (haha) The good news is my Italian is really coming along, its so much easier learning a language when you are forced to use in everywhere you go. Firenze! Europe
Hello again! I'm having an awful time finding internet :( of else I would be updating everyday. It's been about a week in Florence, and although it may still be the honeymoon stage of the trip i can honestly say I've never been anywhere so beautiful and cultured. I love how they preserve everything and do not adapt to tourists that are flooding the city. They lied when they said everyone speaks English, not true at all! Arrived here last Friday after a very long day of flying and met everyone in our group-first impressions-could not have asked for a better group of people. Anyways Friday night we went out to this beautiful restaurant sitting right on the main river in Florence, we all got dressed up sat down to the 20 person table and were immediately greeted with bruschetta, red wine, and the conversations just burst from there. First course was delicious homemade ravioli and pasta , then onto the [View Full Entry]

Just got back from sailing in paradise! What a great trip, we left out of Brooklyn, NY on the Caribbean Princess. It was a HUGE ship with way too many people, but everything was great, the food, the atmosphere, the entertainment! My sister and I buddied up with some crew members from Bulgaria, Macedonia, Australia, Canada, and England, everyone was hilarious and let us in on the fun all over the ship. We stopped at 4 ports, San Juan Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, Tortola, and Turks and Caicos Islands. Gorgeous places, San Juan was full of history and culture. We [View Full Entry]
